Stopped to eat a hearty breakfast with the wildlife. Great sausage from the local butcher, eggs, hash browns and toast plus great atmosphere

We love to visit Ole's, and finally got back. The special was chicken fried steak. I LOVED it. It was a true, classic, breaded chicken fried steak, not the battered kind, more like a schnitzel! Service was friendly and efficient. What a nice detour!
Easy to get to from I-80, small town so you can't miss it. Service is fast and friendly and they have a full menu lunch to supper. Take a couple of minutes to look around at all the wall displays or a real polar bear....More

Great food and especially the french toast. Coffee is delicious, but the one thing that makes this place special is our waitress. We have the same one every year on our annual migration to Colorado. This is what makes this country GREAT...the people. Thanks to...More
I believe that this is the best ribeye i have EVER had, and at an affordable price! Perfectly cooked. Sides weren't anything to get excited about, but who cares if you have some great meat like this!

Large hand patted hamburgers- a little overdone, but very flavorful. New bathrooms that were sorely needed! Thank you for that! Taxidermied animals abound. Fascinating...More
We pulled off I-80 and stumbled into Ole's for lunch. Today's special (roast beef, mashed potatoes, gravy and green beans was delicious. The hostess was very friendly despite there being quite a crowd. Seems to be popular with locals as well as travelers.
We were recommended to stop here by someone that previously lived in Nebraska. WHAT A TREAT!!! Lots of stuffed animals with interesting info on the walls. Had great food too. When we stopped we had a chili burger and the daily special of meat loaf---WOW---both...More
