This was a good place to go solo and kill a little time. I got the hot cafe mocha and it was pretty good! The little gift shop section of the store has some cool stuff too!

The Mill is one of Lincoln's first coffee houses. It is an original...and represents Lincoln's down-to-earth, comfortable approach to coffee and great conversations. College professors, business people and others gather at both Mill locations for meetings and good times. The coffee is not... More

I made it daily stop for cappuccino while I was in Lincoln. Outstanding taste and smoothness. Good barristas. The LeQuqartier Danish are a delight. The cupcakes so-so. Parking requires creativity. Good selection of bean coffee and teas. Friendly staff.

I drank coffee at the Mill when it first opened on 14th Street in the 70s. And I've continued to frequent The Mill all the years in between. The atmosphere at both locations still takes me back to the 70s, the coffee and tea selections are still varied, and they've updated their gift offerings although they are still usually coffee/tea... My daughter took me to the location across from Union College. The hot chai tea was spicy and warm. Perfect for the blustery day we were having!! Loved the ambiance and the gift selections available. Will visit each time I'm in town!! Lots of variety of teas, coffees and sweets.

I usually take out of town friends to visit this coffee house. The atmosphere is so relaxing. The drinks are excellent. They do provide a lot of coffee variety.

The Mill downtown and Union College provides a wonderful atmosphere for study, dates, meetings, etc. I've personally done each of those things at both locations. The owners are lovely, the staff is cheerful and the beverages are always delicious. This is always a location I recommend to my foreign as well as local guests. The downtown location has the bonus... More

In addition to fresh-roasted coffee and fine teas, The Mill offers locally-made sandwiches and vegetarian wraps, baked goods and desserts, a large selection of gourmet candies and chocolate, and of course a full line of coffee and tea related supplies and hardware, all in a casual and eclectic environment. Since it's inception The Mill is insistent on quality, people before dollars, and committment to doing it right or not at all.
