Arrived early and seated right away. This is a very popular restaurant and we always get there early to avoid a long wait. Food is excellent. The place is small and and can get very noisy as the tables get full. Service could have been better.

The food at this place is amazing, wwe had a table of 9 people and it did not even faze them. We had an antipasto platter, so very good. One plate of pasta was better than the last. Lasagna, shrimp fra diablo, papas bolognase are just 3 of the pastas we all had. Large servings, great service casual atmosphere are... More

The place is always hopping with clients. Italian food with a bit of Whitefish flair. The bread is amazing and it has a bit of a kick to it! I have only had the pasta and it was wonderful. Lots of food on the plate, so you might want to share an entree. We ended up taking some home and... More

Every night is busy at Ciao Mambo but New Year's Eve was extremely busy. Got there 30 min after opening and was surprised to get a great table with a 5 min wait. Our waiter was very attentive and was great. The food came out quickly despite the huge rush of people. Food was amazing. The bread was unbelievably great... More

We were in town over the holiday weekend. Since this was a local favorite, we decided to check it out with our friends. The wait was ridiculous--but the food was very good. Fresh and cooked to order. The service was attentive including serving us wine as we waited on the stairs inside. Have NEVER waited in line that long... not... More

We have eaten Ciao Mambo many times. It's consistent , always well prepared pasta and very good service. We would eat there more often if they took reservations. A number of times we attempted to eat there but wait was too long. Although the food is good it's not worth a 45 minute wait.

I waited a total of 2 hours and 15 minutes before I was able to start eating my dinner. I was told it would be about a 30 minute wait before I could be seated. I spent an hour waiting to be seated, and was sent to a waiting bar until my table was ready, but after about 15 minutes... More

Seated right away on a very Cold evening in Whitefish. Spinach Salad was Crisp and Yummy with the Candied Walnuts, Mandarin Oranges and Gorgonzola Cheese. The Garlic Bread was as Great as it Smelled. Entrees were Excellent. Service was Top notch. A Memorible Evening for Sure. A Favorite Place for us.

It was a busy Saturday night at Ciao Mambo but we got there early enough (around 5:30) to get a table right away. It is relatively small with a low ceiling, so it can get a bit noisy but it wasn't so bad that we couldn't hear each other across the table. The lighting is "romantic" (a little hard to... More
