They have a hummus wrap, veggie burger and meat free salad options for dinner. They also have vegan appetizers. This is a "locals" spot with decent sized drinks and a good "price option" menu. Don't let the bar atmosphere fool you - this establishment has a decent menu with lots of different food choices.

We met as a large group on a Friday night for dinner. (Ten of us). Very accommodating staff. Great selection of brews and wine. Our orders included burgers, a wonderful goat cheese salad(!), fish and chips that were tasty, a Mediterranean appetizer plate, and clam chowder. Everyone was happy with what they were served. The breakfast menu looks so good,... More

Old Post Pub is quiet and nicely tucked away in downtown Missoula . Daily specials include quesadillas, soup, bread and sandwiches. Daily drinks are on special for Happy Hour along with half-price appetizers. The Old Post was started by Vietnam Vets who needed a place to hang out comfortably. It continues to be a great spot to visit and food... More

I live in Missoula and rarely come here. Love the camaderie. My friends and I will meet here for a meal. Catch up on "gossip". Very lively place. Can get pretty busy. Food is good! We will meet up here 1-2 times/year

The Old Post has a decent selection of beers on tap and offers super tasty fish tacos. Great spot for lunch or dinner.

Stopped in for lunch twice the during my week long stay in Missoula. One of the locals directed me here. I sat at the bar on both occasions, but they have plenty of tables and booths as well. Ordered the Hot Brown sandwich the first time(turkey, bacon, tomato, cheese broiled open face sandwich. Very good, hand carved turkey. Second visit... More

We love going here as it is a cozy spot and offers a "Recession Special" where you get 2 bowls of soup or chili with a toasted cheese sandwich. I love their daily fresh quesadillas - too large to finish in one settling and most delicious. Great fun servers.

If you get nothing else, be sure to order the chicken tenders from the appetizer menu. Truly the best we have ever had. Enjoyed the bean and ham soup, too.

After a night in Missoula we ventured into the old school atmosphere of the Old Post Pub for breakfast. The restaurant went from relatively empty to full and bustling in minutes - a clearly popular place for Sunday brunch. The service was reasonable considering the crush and the food was plentiful and tasty.
