We stopped here a few times during a recent visit to Emigrant and all our meals and service were really good.

Love the Old Saloon, right out of the old West! Beautiful old bar, great food, tasty beers on tap, and lots of local flavor! Beautiful view of Emigrant Peak right out front. I can't wait to go back in the summer and play bags in the side lot!

The atmosphere was casual and "cowboy". The bartender was very nice and the crowd at the bar was a bunch of friendly locals offering cool places to check out in the area. The bloody mary was awesome!

I have driven by this Saloon many times during past visits. After some change in other dinner plans, I decided to give this place a try. Why didn't I stop here before...? My steak was grilled to perfection(and I am pretty picky about grilling). The potato soup was fantastic and the baked potato side dish was great as well(I know, how... More

The Old saloon is under new ownership! They gave it a wonderful facelift, without losing all of it's original charm. It serves both breakfast, lunch and dinner and has a good beer selection. It sets just off HWY 89, in Emigrant, MT and is a great place to stop, going either to or from YNP. :)

I visited the Old Saloon for the first time tonight after a long, chilly day of winter photography in Yellowstone. It's a bar-restaurant and they don't allow children after 8:00 pm, I believe. The Old Saloon Burger is ridiculously good and comes with swiss, bacon, sauteed mushrooms and an over-medium farm egg. I needed three hands to eat it. The... More

A visitor gets a wonderful, authentic feel for the Old West, friendly service, and great food. This tiny place,100 years old, is at a wide-spot in the road: Emigrant, Montana. The Old Saloon offers hearty pub-like fare, in a restaurant that is the real deal. Leave the theme restaurants, fancy hallucinating menus, and fast food behind, and go to the... More

Who could ask for more? The middle of Paradise Valley so beautiful setting and great company. The Bar is very impressive and the food on the good side. The beer is cold and "Roman" knows how to twist a phrase or two. We enjoyed the meals we had there and we will return!

Had Dinner twice at the old saloon because its proximity was close to our cabin. Tried 4 different entrees between wife and I, each were great. Ignore the old time look, there is a REAL chef in the kitchen. Grilled Salmon was very good, the Pork chop was likely the best of our trip. But you have to try the... More
