Our meal at Buns N Beds was great, and the service was that friendly, family style that we love to find in small town America. The restaurant, and service perfectly suited the rustic, edge of the wilderness, feeling that is so much a part of Cooke City.

First, there are not a lot of choices in Cooke City. That being said, this place has home cooked type food. Very tasty and filling. The owner was very friendly, and accommodating. We split the pot roast sandwich, baked beans, antipasto salad, and turtle cheesecake. All was good quality and very good flavor.

I noticed that every day, Buns and Beds offers a BBQ special. The day that I stopped in for lunch, they were offering a pulled pork BBQ. It was delicious!! They have other cold sandwiches which you can get to go into the park.

Booked room here, late in planning. Website said $60 but when I called she said it was now $80 and they did not know how to change website. I went ahead and booked and asked for an e-mail confirmation. She said she did not have time to give anything but a confirmation number. We arrived late to find what is... More

We were here several times more than 5 years ago and the food was great. TIMES have changed, strange hours, takeout only at times, no server available, and the people working there are way to rustic looking to be working in the food service industry. Smelled great but to hard to get the food. We look forward to new owners,... More

We've bought a sandwich for to go to share for lunch. My wife was allowed to go to the bathroom but the unfriendly guy behind the desk told me that I can't go because we've bought only one sandwich. Each sandwich gives you one visit to the bathroom. Bad luck for me that we've bought only one large instead of... More

If we could give a minus 5 star, we would! I have never been to a skid row crack house, yet this is on par or Worse. Broken door, Filthy room, bed, furniture and bathroom very disturbing. If we can save any traveler from this, please read and heed. Unsafe and unclean.

We had an italian sandwich here which was very delicious with fresh ingredients, but it cost $14 for one footlong. It was plenty to feed two people, and it did come with chips, but I would have happily done without the chips. I think I could have gotten a little more for my money in this town.

Called into this rustic cabin on our coach trip. The setting is very basic as you would expect up here. A good selection on the menus. All food freshly prepared for you you can choose between a 6" or 12" sub. They do burgers as well. Also meal of the day. Plus beer. great little set up staff friendly.

Cooke City MT is as far as you can drive out Yellowstone National Park northeast entrance in early May and it is where we had lunch at Buns and Beds restaurant. It is a family run place with really friendly owners, fast and made-to-order food. Everything we had was delicious! BBQ sandwiches and hamburgers grilled right outside the front door.
