Eaten there several hundred times since 1979 and most of the menu entrees, always very good (same cook, Mama Rentzios) with ingredients shipped over from Greece. Their Olympic Plate, a dinner entree that's a sampler of many favorites (Mousaka, Dolmades, Spanokopita, Potatoes, Beef, Pita, Salad, etc.) is a great way to go if you're really hungry (I've never left feeling... It took 2 hours for 6 us to get simple gyros which looked like fast food when we finally got them. They were tasty but absolutely not worth 2 hours. Will never go again.

The gyros are always tasty but on this visit the fries were limp and barely warm, certainly not crisp. The service was slow as only one waitress for the lunch crowd.

The only Greek Restaurant downtown and we love it. Have to get there by ll:40 am to be guaranteed a table. A lot people love all their food and deserts. Not too classy, have to wait a while to be waited on and served because the lack of waitresses.

My wife and I were on our own for dinner. This is our first time in Billings. We decided on Greek food at the Athenian. The Renzios brothers started the restaurant in 1979. We ordered gyros and flalafel with feta cheese. We tried saganake--imported Kasseri cheese (goat) slightly fried and served flaming at the table. It was delicious! The gyros... More

If you love gyros you'll love the Athenian. They have many different kinds of gyros and greek salads. The price is right and the family owners are friendly and remember faces.

I'd have given it between Poor and Average if I could. It was disappointing as the place looked very nice, tastefully decorated and they seem to have been in business a long time. But the food was not as tasty as most of the Greek food I have had all over the world. Disappointing

Stopped in on a trip up north, and thought we would have a nice reek dinner. The restaurant itself is quite nicely done. The photo murals look nice, and the original wooden floors make it comfortable. The service was spotty, and the food was very poor. We tried an assortment of appetizers, none of which were really worth eating. I... More

the salad was fresh (with real feta!). The T-bone steak was fine, and the red snapper had a very tasty sauce with it, not at all fatty. The waitress was very friendly and fast and even spoke German to us.
