very nice lunch-time menu, great views, sit outside if the weather allows, inside is very well appointed with open fires, great staff, have also visited for evening meal, great food, not like pub food, its more like a proper restaurant with a proper chef. Highly recommended.

We ate here on a Friday afternoon, as regards Pub food we both agreed it was one of the best we've tried. Its not quite gastro Pub but far better than usual Pub grub. The setting is superb and the views from the terrace lovely. The staff were very good and a credit. We will visit here again.

Following an eventful walk on the Sandstone Trail the Pheasant Inn was a welcome sight for an excellent pint. Nice pub, with a good atmosphere. The only couple of negatives were; a) the bar staff who seemed to be having a competition on who could ignore the customers at the bar the longest b) The price of the drinks. Didn't... More

We visited on a Saturday night and to be on the safe side I thought I'd book a table. I was glad i did as another couple were told they were unable to be seated. The view, as others have said is stunning and worth a visit just for that. The good is very good as well. We had olives... More

On a good day, a wonderful view awaits when you arrive at The Pheasant Inn. The drive through the beautiful Cheshire countryside is well worth the effort to arrive at this village location. Food is high quality and reasonably priced for the standard of food served. Gluten free and vegetarian foods are available. It is always best to book as... More

The Pheasant Inn has a great position looking out over the Cheshire plane and has been a favourite of ours since we came to live in Cheshire. It's popularity is great and on a sunny day it is packed. The prices for food and drink are not bad and although it may seem very posh, it is fairly standard fair.... More

Visited on Sunday 9th April with my wife, sons and daughter in law to celebrate her birthday. The meal was very enjoyable and reasonably priced for an evening meal but we thought the staters were over priced. The service was good overall but more care needs to be taken in training staff on how to serve and retrieve plates, the... More

Having visited this pleasant Inn many times and had an enjoyable meal, a recent visit proved to be disappointing. Having made a reservation for 7 p.m. We were not shown to our table until nearly 8 o'clock. After each query about our table we were told it was not yet ready. Even though busy, this is unacceptable and shows poor... More
