Came for a business lunch. The service was good, as it was a quiet time. The regular burgers looked huge, so I opted for the sliders. It was a good choice, I ate half and took the rest home. The burgers were cooked to my specifications and nicely garnished.

This local "chain" is in our neighborhood (Webster Groves), and several others. They do a great job of repurposing existing buildings, so every venue is unique. One time we ate in an old vault out at the St. Charles location. It's on our regular lunch rotation, but we've been with large groups for dinner, as well.

Can you give a place negative stars? My friend and her fiancé just reported being denied service last night for dinner. Since their behavior was very much in check they have no choice but to assume it was based on race given that neither is white. Not that it should ever be a question. There is no need to ever... I'd forgotten about Happy Hour when I needed an early dinner. Lots of seating was available, the bartender was there in no time at all. Guinness reigns, and a Black and Tan was superb. But I waited and waited for a menu, and to order, and then I waited and waited. Eventully my Spinach Dip arrived, and the "fried" pita... More

I don't understand why so many people frequent this bar. The food is bad. The bar tenders are rude and it is usually loud. There must be something I'm missing.

For an American interpretation of an English pub with a Welsh accent, Llywelyn's, on the fringe of the town centre of Webster Groves, does well. The beer selection is, as Donald Trump might say, huge. I went for a Wolf's Cub IPA - a cloudy, chilled ultra pale, almost orange-tinted, ale which was surprisingly strong and taste-filled. There were four... More

Llywelyn's is a great place to watch the Blues or the Cardinals. We were there to watch a college football game that wasn't in their TV package, but they graciously allowed us to stream it from an iPad. I had the Fish & Chips which were great. Be sure to get their homemade pub chips instead of the French fries... More

Don't get the food after hours. It's small portions that have been haphazardly assembled on the plate for way too much money. 2 chicken tender sliders are $5 and I think small babies could have assembled the sandwiches better. Just a tiny piece of chicken on a roll. No sauce, pickle, or anything.
