The zucchini carpaccio, the prosciutto-wrapped endive with fresh mozzarella - both the perfect intersection of celebrating beautiful ingredients and creative preparation resulting in flavors and textures that worked together wonderfully. The lobster raviolo with lemon and basil and reggiano was criminally delicious. The duck over creamy polenta was tender and didn't seem as rich as duck usually does. The food,... More

I Fratellini is a St. Louis treasure frequented by those "in the know" who crave exquisite Italian-inspired cuisine and a refined and tastefully decorated dining environment. Known St. Louis restaurateur Zoe Robinson has created something really special here. The space is smallish, intimate and busy at lunch and dinner so make reservations. The 4 seat bar area is usually available... More

We had an excellent dining experience; intimate ambiance, attentive service, delicious food and great wine list. Since the bar is tiny, we started out with cocktails across the street at Bar Les Freres which is under the same ownership. Then continued our evening with a terrific dinner and desserts. I highly recommend this for a romantic spot for two, or... More

I Fratelline is the ideal restaurant if your expectations are extremely high when you leave your own kitchen and want someone else to prepare dinner for you. Perfectly sized dining room with few tables, quiet ambient lighting, and plenty of calm to enjoy your own conversation. The local regulars love it so much they keep it to themselves. I shall... We had the pleasure returning to I Fratellini for our anniversary dinner. The salads were creative and outstanding, one of a kind. One can not find better fish entries anywhere in the St. Louis market. The entries were fresh and flavorful. The service was top notch. The evening was one you look forward to on a special occasion. We will... More

This place is really really good. Get reservations - even for lunch. We had prosciutto wrapped endive and a goat cheese, sundried tomatoes crostini thing before a brilliant grilled salmon on sauteed spinach with fennel and a diabolically spicy lasagna with house made sausage. it was huge, ate half, kept half. Also try mushroom ravioli and chocolate torte. good values... More

My wife and I went here a year before our trip to Italy and again last night. We really enjoyed the food and service. The restaurant is tiny and very intimate. The focus is not on the size of the restaurant but on the food and service. Once we got back from Italy we realized it was the closest thing... More

While in Clayton this month, we visited I Fratellini for lunch. The restaurant is small and quaint reminding me of what I imagine a a sidewalk cafe in Italy to be. We were seated by the window so the cool breeze blowing and sound of crisp leaves blowing down the sidewalk made it feel like vacation. The atmosphere was a... More
