This is the most eclectic mix of artists work I've ever seen. Every inch of this bar is covered with mosaics and collections. It's got a really cool courtyard as well. There are usually good bands, etc that play as well. Check the website first though, I heard that they might be closing?

Definitely worth checking out for the eclectic decor, alone. The drinks are really inexpensive, but not really imaginative.

Funky fun late night joint. People used to visit Venice Cafe for shock value but now a days there is little left to shock anyone here. Mostly filled with late night drunks doing shots and listening to local funky bands.

A co-worker heard about the Venice Cafe and insisted that a group of us Uber from our hotel to see it. He did not tell us what was so special about the place, but upon entering, all questions were answered! A unique, eclectic, visually stimulating wonderland... so grab a drink and go on a walkabout... it's worth it!

Love to get drinks here especially when it is nice outside. They have a great patio full of crazy things to look at.

This is one of most unusual places one could visit. The decor is eclectic, to say the least, and a tour around the bar and garden would certainly support that. Bands play there on certain nights and provide entertainment The beer selection is good. The staff is outstandingly friendly. The garden area is great place to sit, visit and drink... More

This is a must see, hidden artistic gem. Nice bar, friendly folks, full of art, mosaics, and music. Quirky place in a quirky neighborhood.

Visited Venice Cafe at the recommendation of a hotel desk, to listen to live music and have a few drinks. (no food.) We were very surprised to find this crazy, crazy, crazy fun place! Think of a thrift store from the 1960's expoding inside a bar, with a patio, a basement koi pond, an upstairs "dead animal room" and toilet... More

Visited here on Mardi Gras day, so have to cut them some slack. Had heard about it for a long time; well worth a visit. We just had drinks and wanted to see the place. It didn't disappoint. Felt like I was back in the hippie era. The decorations in this place are amazing. Go see it, but I wouldn't... More
