Had Thanksgiving dinner at The Tenderloin Room at The Chase Park Plaza. Was absolutely fabulous. The meal and the service both exceptional. Best service ever, ask for Ellis. Can't wait to go back. Appetizer viewed and served table side.

For a supposedly 'legendary' steakhouse in STL, this was a disappointing experience, The food quality was slightly above average, the service was arrogant and borderline rude and the prices ridiculous given the quality. Everything about the Chase Plaza is wildly over-rated and desperately in need of modernization.

The Tenderloin Room is a St. Louis tradition. Located inside the Chase-Park Plaza Hotel in the Central West End, this restaurant harkens back to the days of first class restaurants in a first class hotel. Service is excellent. Appetizers are brought out on a serving cart and finished and garnished at the table. The menu is not extensive, but everything... More

Recently went to dinner at the Tenderloin Room with about 15 colleagues and wives. I didn't have high expectations and was pleasantly surprised. The service was impeccable, the food and wine excellent. We began with starters crafted from their rolling cart. Hot apps were available too. Everyone gave favorable reviews to the pepperloin and surf/turf. Chilean sea bass melted in... More

We enjoyed our Saturday night dinner at The Tenderloin Room at the Chase. We were a family group of five (celebrating a birthday) and all were in the mood for the favored fare of the house. TTR is an original hotel steakhouse, with the authentic feel of a classic. You will want to have a reservation for your preferred time... More

spent a few days at the Chase Park Plaza in St. Louis and had dinner at the TenderLoin room in the hotel. the Caesar Salad I had was very tasty and the filet cooked medium was perfect. It seems that rarely does a steak come to the table piping hot, but this filet was cooked perfectly and piping hot. The... More

American hotels aren't necessarily known for having good restaurants but the Tenderloin Room in the Chase Park Plaza Hotel in St. Louis is a pleasant exception. It is primarily a "steak house" but they do offer other items, including vegetarian options. Appetizers like grilled calamari and shrimp cocktail are presented table side. The steaks we had were well prepared but... More

Buoyed by good reviews, our evening began with being seated at the requested table with a fine view. The pleasing ambiance was complemented by our competent, informative server who followed our pace. Dinner began well, with a Manhattan made just as requested. Water glasses were refilled promptly and often. Bread was warmed but it was solely ordinary white bread. The... More

Classic and loving it!! Mr. Spiro brought the charm and perfect food for an anniversary to be remembered. Would have shared the huge 4 piece shrimp appetizer with hubby but he wanted his own. Steaks, twice baked potatoes and fresh green beens perfectly prepared and presented. Take home bag for steak allowed Bananas Foster prepared dramatically table side brought a... More

If you go, make a reservation and request Spiro as your waiter. He is great at what he does. Order the Tenderloin... that is what they do best. Do not go here and order chicken. It is a STEAK house. Potatoes are delicious. I recommend them covered in the steak sauce and topped with feta cheese crumbles. One of my... More

Description
The "T-Room" has retained the look and feel of those oh so elegant restaurants of a bygone era - plush and comfortable without being "clubby". The dining rooms (two down and one up a short flight of stairs) say: "...Come and stay a while...". And why not? With food this good it's not hard to stay and eat your heart out." Become a Fan of the Tenderloin Room and get updates on entertainment and specials! Our classic Pepperloin a la Tenderloin is seared to mouthwatering perfection with our famous sauce. For the adventurous diner with a large appetite we proudly present our Cowboy Ribeye, sure to satisfy like no other. Remember, steak remains the specialty, but entrees such as rack of lamb, stuffed filet, and veal chops offer spectacular alternatives to the signature beef.
