Even though there is no Gateway Arch outside the window, the restaurant is beautiful with art throughout. Service is good. We did the pre-fixe for $35 per person. It's on a separate menu and you have to ask for it, but it;s a more affordable...way to go for a family of four. The entrees are large (even if the options are limited) and the dessert is full size. The other three got the Italian Cream Cake, but I went for the Tiramisu. All of the food was wonderful, yet to end the night with that sweet dessert made me very happy as we drove home.More

I walked past this restaurant several times over the 6 days I was in the area for a conference. Thought it was closed. One night, I saw people going in! So my friend and I decided to try it. It was lovely. We were treated...beautifully. As it was very expensive, it was a treat for us. Not something we could do often, that's for sure. But if the conference comes to St. Louis again, I'll save $$ so I can come back.More

Although they no longer have the location with the arch view don’t let that stop you from enjoying an excellent dinner. The service was attentive and friendly. The food was amazing. I highly recommend the seafood ravioli. Very romantic atmosphere.

We were disappointed when Kemoll's moved from downtown, where we've enjoyed the wonderful view of the Arch while we dined. For my wife's birthday, we decided to visit their new digs at Westport Plaza. We came early to enjoy a bit of happy hour, and...the bartender and staff were great. We were able to be seated a few minutes before our reservation time and Eric, our server, explained the specials for the evening, and gave us ample time to look over the menu. I ordered the Ribeye and my wife ordered the house special Lasagna. Both came with a side and a house salad, which was delicious! My steak was perfectly prepared to medium rare, and my wife's lasagna was excellent, and big enough to feed a family of six. Our service was spot on all evening. As an aside, we had enough food left over for another two meals. We highly recommend trying Kemoll's for yourself!More

We went here for dinner. I was impressed when we walked through the doors and a guy wS playing the piano 🎹.. The server was great. He was attentive and made recommendations. Hats off to the chef. The food was excellent. My steak was tender...and cook perfectly. The appetizers, salad, steak, and pasta were delicious. We didn't have room for dessert. Looking forward to returning.More

My husband and I dined here with family to celebrate an anniversary. We dined the first night that they reopened since the virus hit. I was apprehensive about dining so soon after reopening but the service was outstanding. The food was quite good but on...the expensive side. The steak that my husband and I order was $65 and then another $10 to split it. Our bill splitting an entree with two glasses of wine and a soda was way over $100 with tip. Our steak was very good but had a fair amount of fat on it. I tried a bite of my sister in laws ravioli and it was delicious. We might try them again for happy hour as they have some decent happy hour specials.More

A visit to Kemoll's transported us to the most calm, peaceful experience we have had in several months. With Sinatra music playing in the background, the staff greeted us at the door and transferred us from the vibrant bar area to the serene dining room....The staff were all wearing masks, and the tables were spaced far apart, allowing us to relax and enjoy our dining experience. The steak was cooked to perfection, with grill marks seared on the outside and a perfect medium temperature inside. The cannelloni was made with 4 fresh, homemade noodles and a delicious filling. A gentle marinara and cream sauce completed the mouth-watering pasta. Our waitress did not blink an eye when we used a Groupon and was gracious and attentive throughout the meal. As we were leaving, we spotted a shaded patio with other happy diners, another option to consider. We will definitely return again soon!More

It was a strange experience. It was the beginning of March, when we were aware of the virus heading our way. It was a cold, rainy night and there was hardly anyone in the lovely restaurant. Shortly thereafter all restaurants in US closed for dining...inside--only carryout. We felt sorry for the employees. They were very kind, efficient and helpful. The food was excellent. We ordered the Sicilian meatball appetizer. It was so tasty--huge meatballs with a delicious sauce. We each ordered the nightly special. My DH had a pasta dish with shrimp. I had a salmon dish. When they reopen, I'd highly suggest going there. It's an old line St Louis restaurant with a long record of excellence.More
