The staff was SUPER helpful & friendly, and despite the groan-worthy bear claw puns, this was a great stop for morning coffee & pastries.

The coffee is good but the pastries are amazing. The croissants and bear claws are buttery and flaky. The taste and texture is reminiscent of traditional French pastry. The egg-wash that they brush on results in a deep golden crust to everything. Yum, yum, YUM! I brought a couple of pieces home with me and they were still delicious the... More

We stopped here on a whim while staying at a nearby hotel and were pleasantly surprised. The latte I had was great and my husband's tea was great too. All of the staff was friendly and helpful.

This is seriously my most favorite coffee shop in STL. The hand brews and lattes are amazing and the pastries are divine! The Almond Bear Claw is my fave. Plus, the staff is so knowledgeable and friendly! Great place to hang out when you can find a seat! Wish it were a tad bigger to accommodate more patrons.

I really enjoy coffee shops and this one ranks way up there. They truly have excellent coffee - and I am talking here about plain black coffee, not the fancy stuff - thanks in large part to the "pour over" method of brewing that they use. I also had a breakfast biscuit called "Rebel Within" - see picture. It is... More

Went here and finally found a low-key, quiet ambiance in a coffee shop. No loud and obnoxious patrons here. Thank goodness!!!! Anyway, my hot chai tea latte was served in a deliciously LARGE, oversized glass cup and it was fantastic. My companion had coffee which was delectable, too. I've snapped pictures of the large cups you are served when ordering... More

Stopped in for a cup of coffee. It was mind blowing! Sweet Bloom Costa Rica with mango and chocolate flavors that stood out but still subtle and very smooth. One of the best cups I've ever had. So good I went back and bought a bag. Also tried a George Howell that was comparably excellent. Clean, modern environment with outdoor... More

My family came in for a late afternoon snack after a day spent sightseeing in St Louis and were quite pleasantly surprised with how tasty the pastries were. We enjoyed it so much we came back for breakfast the next day!

My family came here for breakfast before heading down the street to the Science Center. I love breakfast pastries and this place did not disappoint. The selection is not huge, but it's sufficient and everything is quality. They had croissants (chocolate and regular), almond bearclaws, blueberry and chocolate chip muffins, quiche, and some amazing chocolate chip cookies to name a... More

We stumbled on this little gem on the way to the Science Museum. This was some of the best coffee I've had in a long time. The flavor was spot on and the pastries were delicious. I love that almost all the ingredients were locally produced. The fells behind the counter were helpful and engaging. By far the best breakfast... More
