The food was nothing I expected! The cabbage was way too salty, the chicken was fried in old burnt oil, the corn bread was pretty much like a brick. The mac and cheese was pure disgrace for a so called soul food establishment. I will...More

My spouse and I go and visit this location at least once per year. Why? Well, the food is great and Mrs Robbie is usually there being friendly and very approachable to everyone. Thank you Ms Robbie for continuing to provide quality food. We appreciate...More

Sweetie Pies was a huge disappointment. I had the buffalo fish. It was all bones. Inedible. I make better candied yams and I'm not much of a cook. The okra was OK. Cornbread very dry. Sweet tea was too sweet to drink. My husband had...More

I was a little disappointed that this is what I was offered at a soul food restaurant. I ran through a cafeteria line. The food was alright. The service however was good. Was not crowded.

Very busy place when I was there. Everyone raved about the catfish in other reviews, so I had to try it. It was nicely breaded, but soft and mushy on the inside. That isn't how I like my fish. The peach cobbler was okay, but...More

We read about this restaurant on the web and have seen the TV show. While the food was tasty, it was not unlike the soul foods I've grown up with. The only disappointment I have is in not having the dish I wanted (meatloaf) for...More

We went around 2 on a Saturday. The wait was about 15 minutes. While waiting we were served ice water. The doors were opened and we could enjoy the live band. The wait gave us time to decide what we wanted however when we made...More

You can buy a plate of sides for about $4 each, but even a majority of those are made with meat. Fridays, for pescatarians, feature fish options. I had the dressing/stuffing, mashed potatoes, and corn -- which came with cornbread -- and went home full...More

Upper Crust is the best location and is more spacious. Mangrove is closed and the original location in Florissant is smaller and seems a bit dated.

Cloe is a Hugh asset to the company and the family. Most of your workers admire and like her more than the people you put over her. She put her child on hold to move there. Interview your employees and they will tell you the truth. Chief has issues and pulls her title more than she should. Changing receipts and taking her authority to her advantage
