Come early! With the historic Soulard Farmers Market open, this place fills up fast! Ribs are the best around. My favorite sides are the beans (I normally do not eat beans but these are amazing!) and the potato salad. My husband likes the fire and ice pickles. Definitely a place to visit!

We stopped here about 2pm on a Thursday after taking the Budweiser tour but a short distance away. When we arrived their was only one person in line ahead of us to order/pay at the register. We were glad that we scanned the online menu before we arrived, since the chalk board menu listed less information. Our orders were taken... More

What is not to love about this local BBQ favorite. The ribs, the brisket the sides. all are good here. You have to love a place that sells out of food on a daily basis. that is a clear sign that you are doing something right.

On our first trip to St. Louis we stopped at Bogart`s Smokehouse first after reading rave reviews of it on Trip Advisor. We were far from disappointed! What really sold us was the fact that it had outdoor seating as we had our two small dogs with us. The picnic tables lined up on the sidewalk were clean and shaded... More

It's all good! Get burnt ends if they're still available, otherwise the brisket & pork are also fantastic.

I always take first time guests to St. Louis to this spot. Best pastrami sandwich ever!! Also have to try the pit baked beans and deviled egg potato salad. Friendly staff with experience with moving a lot of people through this small restaurant. Limited seating so get there early.

Pappy's and Bogart's are very similar (recipe's) and share a history (ownership somehow), but I like Bogarts' a bit better. Maybe just the atmosphere, but I love their burnt ends, and all the meat is great. Beans are good and you get a decent portion of food. Seems most rib joints skimp.

What was suppose to be a dinner of celebrations, because we arrived late, most of the recommended food were all sold out. The food does come out fast though. Go early if you want to try the good stuff.

I have been here half a dozen times. I get the ribs and it would be hard for me to get anything else as they are the BEST ! Service is good but you will be hovered over by the staff who is fast to take your plates or ask you if you are done as seating is very limited... More
