We went here with family. It is a family style restaurant with a decent menu and reasonable prices. We ordered chili and a ham and cheese sandwiches. The chili was very good and not especially spicy, which suited my significant other who can't tolerate spicy food. The service was good and the waitress had a nice personality. We would go... More

Loved their food & one of a kind atmosphere. Wall murals & a rustic feel--perfect! I had their special--a burger with swiss & American cheeses & bacon along with a side of their homemade chips. Delicious!!

Very good food. Husband had the cube steak, I had a hamburger. Food was delicious and seems more flavorful than the past.

I stopped in on a Thursday night while staying in the motel next door and was kind of limited on choices of places to eat in town. I ordered a burger being that it was a small place, only had two servers, and was packed. The burger was good and the young man who waited on me was very nice.

The restaurant looked closed and not well kept so we didn't try the food. We stayed at the hotel next door and the state park was right across the street but with no customers at the café and the weeds around the building it didn't look inviting at all. Sorry.

Service was good, drinks were filled often. We had lunch there and sandwiches were so good I stuffed myself trying to finish mine. A lot of locals eat here, which is also an indication that the food is good. Closed Wed.

we went for breakfast. I ordered a hashbrown and bacon. The bacon was crisp and good, but the hashbrown was a heap of those frozen hashbrowns, and the flavor was off. They tasted like they had been browned in old bacon grease on the grill, and they weren't really browned--just warmed. My friend had biscuits and sausage gravy and said... More

A small establishment, but provided a reasonable and tasty breakfast. This restaurant is across the street from Ft Davidson Historic Site (well worth a quick visit). Expect young giggling girls as your wait staff.

A couple caveats This is not an urban restaurant so if slick and chic is important to you, this is not the place. If you are on a hurry, this is also not the place. Also, the place has a lot of locals and it is clearly their place. They are okay w you being there but clearly it is... More

Three friends on a day trip! We traveled to the restaurant because we heard how great the fried chicken was, it was hot and delicious and not disappointing. The mashed potatoes and green beans were wonderful. Try it!
