Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Went Saturday 12th nov with my family. 5 in total . Three of us had the duck and one had steak. They had run out of the fish . All of thoroughly enjoyed their meals . The waiter couldn’t have been any friendlier. You got...to hand it to the French they now how to serve up food. Now here’s the reason 4 stars not 5 . I thought it was a bit expensive but Australia is. My daughter and husband are used to the prices.More

I love this place! Went last night for our anniversary, whilst it’s not the fanciest place around, it has history for my wife and I. Old school menu done perfectly. Really good/good value wine list. Friendly and relaxed service.

We are new locals exploring- and loved the food at the bistro. Husband is a chef and not easy to impress, but he loved the food. We had the steak, venison, Creme brûlée and a yummy entree. Will come again! Don’t forget to book a...table, first time we came no free spot - even though in the middle of the week !More

Always love dinner here. Especially the duck. It's a small restaurant and is popular, so bookings essential

The relaxed (bistro) vibe, the French wine bottles in sight, the international staff, and bouef bourguignon (Monday special), this is the place to feel like you've journeyed to France without a passport.

French Chardonnay and Pinot noir were lovely Our waitress was stellar The pate, venison and goat cheese soufflé were delicious. Had to send the zucchini flowers back as they were heavy and stodgy and the flour was raw on the outside. The waitress was so...good about it. The French onion soup was a loser. Onions not taken far enough. Tasted like beef stock with cheese on toast on the side.More

It’s a very traditional French stereotypical menu, but very well executed. The confit of duck melted in the mouth, the soufflé looked excellent, the creme brûlée was still aflame when it arrived at the table, and for bonus points, the service was quick and friendly....Even the baguette was well textured and the butter smooth and moderately salted. It’s all excellent. A local gem.More

Our first visit since coming to this area. Went for our wedding anniversary. Good vibes and food. Service ok. Expensive so we were probably expecting a more exciting experience. But we were happy with meal and service overall..

Bistro Boulevard is a regular of ours, as it is with so many others on the far Northern Beaches. Booking is strongly advised as it gets busy most nights of the week and the tables spill nicely onto the footpath on weekends. The menu is...relatively narrow but everything is good and has that authentic French home cooked appeal rather than the food being very chefy, overly clever and artistically designed. Service is quick and efficient, the wine list is reasonably priced and you can buy most wines buy the glass. The natural oysters entree is so fresh you can taste the sea and the beef and confit duck are favourite mains of ours. Sure, the interior decore and furniture could do with a freshen up but this does little to distract from what is always a very enjoyable occasion.More

Such a wonderful ambience and friendly service. We love this place. My favorites are the steak frites and the confit de canard but have tried almost everything on the menu and it’s all excellent fare. Enjoy.
