This is the type of experience you would expect in Greece ..home style food very relaxed owners, but in these Covid times a bit too much familiarity and "relaxation" is a bit troubling. The food was as expected and tasty , service casually effective, atmosphere - like someone's home and warm and friendly. This is not a professional operation and charges (food and wine) are not cheap (although the bill was undiscernible) . Having said all that we did enjoy ourselves overall.
One to enjoy in the future - when staff getting up close and personnel with you does not make you want to jump 1.5m clear.

Delicious Greek food made by authentic Greek cooks. They really make you feel like you are visiting them at their home by how hospitable they are. The Greek wine selection was fabulous too. A lot of the menu is seasonal written on a blackboard, common allergens are easy to avoid due to the simpleness of the cuisine. We had the slow cooked lamb and meze platter.

Dined at Ouzo a handful of times over the past few months, each visit blackboard menu offering whatever has been cooked up in the kitchen that day, each visit food has been fresh and tasty. Family run with very friendly staff that make you feel welcome providing a very relaxed dining experience. They have a limited wine list would be better if BYO was an option.

I was all ready to savour a traditional Greek souvlaki and all i got were four measly bits of pita, lamb on a skewer and enough 'salad' to feed a snail.
Highly overpriced and below average food.
Never going there again

Went here as two families for dinner. 4 adults and 4 kids. Not one drop of alcohol was consumed. Our bill came to $400. We were absolutely flabbergasted. Unfortunately as we were ordering things like 2 Mezze plates which we were only ordering for 2 people we were brought the 4 person version apparently. But from what we were served it did not look like the quantities had been doubled. It was not clear to us when we were ordering that things were being doubled. The food itself was delicious. There just wasn’t heaps of it so we were very surprised when our kids were still a life hungry but the bill was $400. The mixed meats platter is delicious, as were the dips (they were just small portions). When we asked for an itemised bill just to check how it had come to that much, we were told everything was written down in note form and an itemised bill was not possible. I found this very frustrating. The older man who served us was also pushy and a little cranky. Possibly overworked over the Xmas period so we didn’t say anything. I would advise checking really carefully before ordering that you are getting what you’re paying for.

Disgusted and disappointed after looking online my partner and I ordered a meat platter for 2 advertised at $50 when we went to pick up they said that was old covid price it’s $80! So we paid $40 each for 1 chop each 1 piece of chicken and 1 small flat piece of pork a Greek salad that was just lettuce no tomatoes cucumber or feta and the chips were store bought frozen crinkle cut chips not homemade as advertised also. Advertising and menus online need to be fixed there was no price advertised in shop and the standard of food is nothing to be excited about at all. We Won’t be returning!

For someone who is not well acquainted with Greek food, Ouzo was a good find. Limited menu but it was all appealing and there was a genuine home cooked feel about the place. Everyone enjoyed their meals including one vegiterian. reasonably well priced although two of the party shared one main. Good service and well priced wine. the location does not have a lot of atmosphere but the greek/owner & staff made up for it.

Ouzo is a great neighbourhood restaurant run by a local family. The welcome and service are warm and friendly. The food is reliably fresh and excellent. There’s no pretension or formality, everything is honest, down to earth, fun and delicious.

Authentic Greek food with friendly service. Must try the baclava. It was a welcoming experience all the way. Friendly and helpful advice on food selection. There were 4 of us and we tried a broad selection and it was all fabulous.

Yummy - not cheap, but good fresh and clean Greek food choices. We appreciated that one the day we could make a booking for an early slot for my Grandmother and i. Thank you!

I ate with a group booking which filled the restaurant. There were 40 of us. We had a pre-arranged set menu - mezze plate followed by a main course of slow roasted lamb shoulder with lemony roast potatoes, coleslaw and tzatziki, then a dessert of rice pudding flavoured with Chios Mastika (a liqeur produced only on the island of Chios), topped with a fresh respberry.
There was ample food and it was delicious.
The mezze plate included tzatziki, hummus, dolmades (1 per person), an eggplant dip, taramosalata, marinated olives (especially yum), white beans in a tomato sauce and warm pita triangles. The latter were refilled on demand.
The dishes were served efficiently with plenty of explanatory commentary. This created a wonderful, warm vibe for our party. The restaurant appeared to be operated by a husband and wife team, with the wife looking after table service.
Our set menu cost $40 per person and included a glass of red or white wine, Greek naturally. I had a dry white and it was a little different to wines to which I'm accustomed but very good none-the-less. Wine was available by the bottle but did seem a little pricey - $40 per bottle. So the food was excellent value, but add-on wine by the bottle would increase the bill quickly.
Overall we had an excellent meal for a large group with very good, friendly service at a very reasonable price.

We ordered 3 Mixed platters takeaway at a cost of $50 each(each platter was supposed to serve 2) for dinner for a group of six adults. Absolutely disappointed with the quantity and quality of the food. The meat was over cooked and consisted of 6 tiny lamb chops,, 3 small pork chops, 3 small pieces of chicken, 1 lamb skewer, the smallest serving of chips and 3 pieces of pita bread - It came in an aluminium tray - everything slopped into a pile with a small salad on the side - for $150 I think I expected a little more! It was definitely not enough to feed 6 people. Absolute waste of money and tasted like rubber - never ever eating at Ouzo again!
