Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

From.the moment we walked in the door the ambience was incredible. The service from each staff member was excellent. With my dietary requirements of gluten free and capsicum intolerance, they were only too willing to assist. The freshly baked bread was incredible, and the gluten...free was delicious The wine was inexpensive, and the share dessert was orgasmic. Excellent, we will.be back with a larger groupMore

The venue is part of an extensive luxury resort. The entire experience was first class. The venue, service and food is all at the high end and whilst expensive worth the cost. Menu is simple but well constructed. Steak Tartar prepared at the table was...perfect and as a lover of the dish have enjoyed it throughout the world . The pasta dish was perfect with real home made pasta. The whole baked fish - served at the table - is just to die for. One has to experience the event to realise that it doesn’t come better. Wine list is comprehensive and good value. One comment I would make however is the cost if sparkling water @ $6.50 per head. Sure we drank a quantity of it together with the wine etc . It’s.carbonated on the premises from the filtered water in tap but to charge $26 for water us a bit over the top. It is a long lunch and one has to be careful when driving - unless staying there. Our service was exceptional with knowledgeable and competent staff. I would recommend the venue as world class and a pleasant experience.More

I have eaten here many times over the years and also over ownership changes. Fabulous service, wine list, menu, atmosphere and decor but unfortunately the food quality has not been as consistently good as it used to be. Dry swordfish, mushy pasta, insufficient Aqua Pazza...sauce has been my experience lately. Expect to pay top prices for food and wine, which may be acceptable if the food quality passed muster but it does not at the moment.More

Have been here a number of times over the years but in recent times they have certainly stepped in a couple of gears. The food and entire experience was faultless and super impressive. So much so that’s it’s surprising they haven’t been awarded a Good...Food Guide - Chefs Hat. I have dined at many awarded establishments over the years and these guys are easily in that league. Certainly one of the best dining experiences on the Central Coast. Even received some complimentary limoncello sorbet deserts from Karina, Brian and Sean. Very nice touch. Well done and thank you.More

Dined here twice after mixed experiences in the past. New team has really made a big difference. Service was professional and efficient. Menu is surprisingly large as most restaurants in area were offering fixed menus only. Food was excellent. Oysters, WA marron, spaghetti vongole, wagyu...beef were all top class. Wine list is exceptional. Pricing overall is high but it was worth it.More

We dined both nights of our stay at Bell's in the dining room. We enjoyed both meals. The first night we each had a whole fish. My husband had the Murray Cod and I had the Snapper. We followed this with the homemade gelato. The...second evening we had the Pacific Oysters which were large and so fresh, the barbecued Barramundi and again the homemade gelato. The wine list is extensive and we chose a bottle of the Tasmanian Pinot Noir which was good drinking.More

This is a lovely setting and overall the restaurant staff welcoming and attentive. However I can’t get over the $68 Sirloin steak was mediocre at best. Yes it was cooked as requested (medium rare) but it was completely uninspiring and pretty tasteless. If you like...steak don’t bother getting one here the Gosford RSL would do you better. I didn’t complain as there was nothing wrong with it per se but it was the most expensive thing in the menu and I was expecting something special. Damp squib sums it up.More

It is obvious that the staff here are passionate about food and work very well together. My partner both love cooking and are quite critical if we do go to a restaurant. The fish had the aroma of smokiness (charcoal grill) and was cooked to...absolute perfection. Becoming a vegetarian is almost conceivable, with the roasted carrot almond dish, just magnificent. If anyone has found place to criticise this restaurant, they obviously don’t appreciate the work and passion of this establishment. Vegetables and fruit are grown here and there is an on-site bakery ( best sourdough bread ) Congratulations and thank you for the most wonderful experience! ❤️🙏🏼🌸More

Absolutely impeccable dining experience in here! Service, food, cocktails, wines, decor, ambience, music, lighting...I can’t fault it! We are from Sydney but love it so much we have been 4 times in a month, on our last visit we didn’t have a reservation and the...restaurant was fully booked, but the manager Manuel recognised us and did his best to accomodate us. He’s very friendly, when I told him I love the scallop dish, he introduced me to Greg, the chef who created that dish; I was happy to shake his hand and compliment him personally on the best scallop dish I’ve ever had! Throughout our visits we have tried different dishes and we have always raved about them. Thanks again Manuel and the rest of the team.More

We love this place and have been 3x in the past month. Lovely room, top notch food cocktails and wine and great service. We arrived impromptu when in the area last Monday and although they were fully booked, the restaurant manager Manuel, recognised us said...welcome back and managed to squeeze us in. Thanks Manuel that sort of service stands out and we’ll be back for sure amigo! Peter & GabriellaMore

We had an outstanding dinner. Great service, absolutely delicious food. Stunning location. And I thought value for money. Outshines the former restaurant in these pemises by a country mile. They grow their own herbs on the premises and you can taste the difference. Book early.... It a Was packed on a Monday night.More

I honestly am still reeling about the fact that we paid $33 for the chicken dish which was basically a glorified KFC dish with no accompaniments. Not even a bean! How do you charge $33 for KFC and still expect people to pay another $11...or so for a plate of salad or vegies. So all in all my dish cost us $44 for KFC and a bit of veg. Ridiculous! I will never go back on principal. Absolute rip off. I don't just complain and I appreciate value for money. I don't mind paying and have done over the years in our travels. But this is a complete rip off!More

We visited as part of a gourmet food package. The restaurant really lived up to the description. The setting and ambience were true Hampton’s and elegant. The waiters were excellent. The wine list is magnificent - a more extensive range would be hard to find....Great Italian options as well as a French and of course good Aussie wines including the best of Tassie’s wines - often hard to find in the mainland. We both chose bouillabaisse accompanied by ‘Mania’ Pinot noir. The bouillabaisse was lovely, served as a selection of cooked seafood and shellfish in shells with a nice soup poured over. Different but nice. The sourdough bread and homemade butter was beautiful. We also had a rocket/watercress/pecorino salad which was lovely. Thoroughly recommended.More
