Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Was brought to this restaurant by locals who swore by the place and honestly were a little apprehensive about the place. Tight quarters as it’s an old building we squeezed into a table and look through the menus. Went to cashier Australia style and ordered...drinks and food. Place was busy so we expected a delay??? Tadah drinks were delivered in 10 minutes or less. Food within 15 minutes. I personally had the Surf and Turf… Holy cow! It was probably the best meal I have had in Australia let alone Tasmania. Served by awesome staff and stove hot ever bodies meals were great. A historical building a great feed and out the door in an hour what could be better? Forget reviewers with less than a dozen reviews.More

Ignored when first arrived then moved from room to room by unfriendly staff who couldn’t seem to read the number on our table. Coffee arrived cold enough to gulp. Plenty of other places to go.

Went on a busy Friday, welcomed promptly and seated. Choice of indoor/outdoor. Ordered and food arrived promptly, schnitzel, goulash and seafood pasta dishes, quite a range. All large servings with good flavour, we were all content afterward. Pretty good value, nice surrounds in an interesting...town.More

Enjoyed casual lunch here with friends. We loved the smoked salmon pide and were very tempted by the lovely looking cakes on offer.

Beautiful place , and by far the best honey cake I've tried in Australia! The decorations are fantastic, really causy atmosphere. Very recommended!

The famous Russian honey cake is delicious! Must try! If you have had the cakes from Lady M, you will find this one a little dry, but definitely has a richer taste highlighted by honey, yet not too creamy. I also got the scone to...go. It tastes great with the jam and cream. Perfect for morning/afternoon tea!More

The food was tasty! The scallop linguini and seasoned chips were highlights. The restaurant was a little cold, but it’s also a charming old building that probably lacks proper insulation. The Devonshire tea for $12 is a good deal too.

Dropped in for a mid week breakfast as we passed through Richmond. This is a quaint little restaurant, with character. Coffee came out quick, and was really good. Food followed a short time afterwards and we thoroughly enjoyed it. We’d certainly come back again.

Food is ok but extremely poor customer service. The order turned out wrong. The waitress kept showing us the paper she wrote, but of course we just told her the order and didn't look at what she was writing. How ridiculous. We were willing to pay...half the price to have it changed but she insisted that we have to pay in full. She wasn't even willing to compromise to rectify the mistake.More

Worth the drive from Hobart for breakfast. Pretty town and gorgeous little cottage serving breakfast. Breakfast was standard fare but very nice and the setting is lovely.

We only had cakes and tea. They were both good. The tea cups were beautiful, with my wife’s having little legs! Unfortunately the lady taking our orders was very quick to “jump in” as I ordered, leading to mistakes and omissions. Pity. Lovely setting.

The Devonshire tea was amazing - one of the best I have ever had. And what do I mean. The scones were on the larger side and scrumptious, and fluffy and not dense. The jam was delicious and without gelatine, and the cream was so...tasty and contains vanilla bean. Not your typical mass produced stuff. And I can go on. And received a pot of tea per person, each with about three cups of tea. We drank from bone china cups. We sat on the veranda outside on a comfy blanket. The service was great. And all for $10 per person.. Will certainly be back.More

This isn't actually a question, so impossible to answer. Just seems a rather stupid thing to say.
