This restaurant has received mixed reviews in the past but we went on the recommendation of a local lady. We had the roast turkey dinner and it truly was a home-cooked meal The mashed potatoes, carrots and turnip were perfectly cooked and very tasty.The stuffing...and the turkey were just slightly dry (possibly cooked the previous day and reheated) but the gravy remedied that. The waitress was pleasant and efficient and the wait time for our meal was reasonable. I had no complaints here.More

My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful supper here on July 25th. The food, the service and the view were all top notch. I enjoyed fresh cod, which was caught by local fishermen only a few hours before, it was fabulous. My husband had steak...which he enjoyed as well. We had a lovely view of the habour. The lady doing the service that evening was friendly, knowledgeable, attentive - a true professional who made our evening so pleasant. Good serving sizes and reasonable prices. We had the salmon dinner and cod cakes dinner. Both were good and reasonably priced. The server was very friendly and helpful. Given the relatively limited options in St. Anthony, this is a nice place to get a full dinner.

After a long day of driving, we wanted a meal close to our hotel in St. Anthony. Our hotel front desk recommended this restaurant. The restaurant was fairly empty on a Saturday night so we were a bit concerned. The menu features many home style...meals. We tried the turkey dinner and the fish cakes. Both meals were good with large portions. Home made pies are also on the menu. If you're looking for a simple meal served by friendly staff then this restaurant fits the bill. Nothing gourmet but good home-cooked meal. Turkey dinner was perfect change from fish meals. Danish ribs were perfect. Service great.

We had a wonderful, friendly and down home meal here and remember it fondly. We arrived just as it opened for dinner and were treated warmly, and quickly to a table. Wide menu- when we chose the pork chops we were offered onions and mushrooms...on top- WOW. Yummy and so home cooked. We had pie for dessert and enjoyed watching the tour buses arrived for the attached hotel. It is worth looking for this restaurant if you are in town- especially if you want options outside of seafood.More

We stayed at the attached motel. So, in the morning we had breakfast here. Reasonable prices, quick service. Can't vouch for lunch or dinner, as there are superb choices in the area. But for breakfast, this fit the bill to start our day. Food was...tasty, just not remarkable.More
