Rest House is a water front and castle view restaurant at Sidon. It is a good place to try lebanese style sea food and national alcoholic drink "arak".

It was a very relaxing dinner eating good food and watching the lights and listening to the water. The food is good, some plates better than others but the atmosphere is great. Service was average since the completely forgot the hookah and when they remembered...it was way too late. I would say, choose few dishes since it is so much food that you actually feel bad not to finish it.More

Frankly we went here for lunch here because we were told that this is one of the few places in Sidon where they serve alcohol! But everything was perfect: from the amazing view of the sea castle, the wonderful selection of cold and hot meze,...the tasty fish and the cold rose wine. Only thing that we found almost all over in Lebanon: the waiters are just miserable...no smiles! Why?More

This restaurant has a beautiful view of the sea and a nice breeze in the summer. The food was good but the service was not very fast although it was thorough. This is a great choice if you are visiting the Citadel which is right...next door.More

I haven’t tried the food but looks good as there are many people even during Ramadan fasting eating but no alcohol permitted there. A nice cup of tea or coffee by the sea does wonders.

Took them forever to get the bill. I had to ask for it five times before making a scene to finally be able to pay. Never going back. Don’t ever go there. Happy to not have left a tip.

Couple of years ago we had a problem with this place and we have never come back. Most unprofessional staff and manager. We went for fish. My father asked about the price of ajaj fish so the waiter answered by L kilo be 32000 which...was surprisingly not so high. So we ordered 1 grilled and 1 fried Ajay which were about 2 kilos each. When we ordered be bill the bill came more than 360000 LL although we did not order so much mezza. On the bill, it was written that the ajaj was 92000 for 1kilo. When we talked to the waiter he denied what he said before and told us that he said it was for 32000. When the manager came,we. Thought that he will solve the problem in professional way but he was so unprofessional and rude and he told us "jeyeen teklo samak w MA ma3kon masare". Here my father had to pay the bill and we left the place without our problem solved. Not recommended.More

As a seaside restaurant with a historical neighbourhood the outside lunch or dinner with family, friends and business food meetings will be a magnificent experience. Sunday buffet and daily menu is totally rich. Prices maybe higher than the other restaurants but it's worthy.

Dining outdoors was lovely. Not to be missed. Food adequate to good, alcohol separate (on a tour so set meal). Fish was fresh and tasty. Lots of meze.
