Great place for a Sunday morning hearty breakfast. I had the short stack with bacon and my husband had "The Ranch" which is 2 eggs, bacon or sausage, hash browns, toast and choice of a pancake or biscuit and gravy. The bacon and hash browns were great. The gravy needed a little more sausage for my taste. The pancakes are... More

There's a waitress there who is awful, she is NOT friendly - food is mostly fried, they act like you're putting them out to order their signature fried pies- the crabby waitress tells you it will be at least 20 minutes to get your order - as if to deter you from ordering them... Not worth the attitude - I'd... More

My wife and I enjoyed the excellent burgers we had for lunch. Also, the chocolate shake and the fried pies were good. The waitress/owner was very friendly and fun!

We really loved this place. It's a hometown diner, small but the food was really good, great fries, onion rings and burgers. The lady's that worked there were super nice. We will definitely be back.

A neat little restaurant in a tiny little town. pop 900. Get off US 65 and eat here. Food is good, price is right. Don't forget to try the fried pies. Order in advance, takes 20 minutes.. One pie for two or three people. Expect everyone knows everyone there. But all seem welcomed.

This was our first visit and we used a Groupon. My husband and I loved our burgers. The fries were ok. Next time I want to tried the fried pies and onion ring. Our six year old had the chicken tenders. She didn't like that the breading fell off of them, but my husband and I tried them and they... More

Great food and the pies are fantastic! Generally pretty busy on the weekend so be prepared to wait. Everything is cooked fresh so this isn't a quick in and out visit. It's a don't miss.
