Love eating at the pig. The triple combination is my favorite. My son loves the chocolate milkshakes.

The Pig BBQ is a landmark dining experience in Madison County Missouri. My grandmother and Aunt Helen loved the treat of having a BBQ sandwich on toasted bread. Aunt Helen always put slaw on her mince sandwich! It's a small place with a big heart.

The Pig has been around for many years with a few different owners. They have really improved in their food lately. When you come home to Fredericktown you always have to eat at the Pig.

I guess I'm in tge minority with this one but I came with a large group of family and friends, adults and kids. There wasn't 1 of us who didn't love our food! No, it's not really a bar b que joint, it's a roadside diner. BUT!!! the double hot sauce sandwich was to die for! It's a thinly sliced... More

The Pig has been here forever for two reasons. Number one is because there is basically no other options. Number two is the combinations. It is a grilled cheese with smoked pork sandwich. Ask for double or triple hot sauce.

I've always -ALWAYS- known not to eat bbq in Missouri, outside of the Bootheel. I grew up in the MidSouth, where bbq is a very special thing, with a strong regional preference for vinegar-based sauce. I'm giving the place 1 star simply for the price. My "barbecue sandwich" was slices of meat on toasted bread (it looked like a grilled... More

Nothing what we expected. Pork on toasted bread, frozen breaded deep fried cauliflower. Hard to see why they have been around so long. It must be a local thing.

I actually grew up eating the food here. I think some people review and compare one place with another which is fine if your eating at a typical place. The Pig has been around longer than I've been alive and it takes me 7 hands to describe my age. That's a pretty good track record for a little out of... More

I heard about this place several times in the previous year and decided to try some. NO Atmosphere! Car hops were terrific but honestly.... I can't say I'd recommend this establishment. The pulled pork sandwich was served on toasted white bread. It came with fries which were soggy and limp thought I asked for crispy fried fries. Bummer. The meat... More

I passed this place for years before giving it a try and I'm glad I did. I did so on the recommendation of a friend that grew up eating here. It's definitely worth trying and as long as your not expecting the stars, you will probably enjoy it. I did.
