On our historic tour of the former Jefferson Highway Route we tried to eat at as many historic and locally owned places as possible and this fit the bill for our breakfast. Service was fine and pretty much as expected in a diner with a lot of local folks conversing on things as well as some tourists. Food was fine... More

Old school diner complete with bar and stools. Old grill and great food! Wonderful waitress and staff! We are from out of town but you know it is good when they know the names of all the locals!

I don't get what all the hype is. Yes, it's a really old place. Yes, that's nostalgic. But, this place is dirty, cluttered, and the food isn't great. The burgers are super tiny! They aren't fresh ground beef, just small frozen tiny patties. Even the tenderloin, fries, and onion rings came straight out of the freezer. Their chili recipe is... More

We asked the staff at our hotel were the best breakfast in town was and they told us Ray's. They weren't lying! The Dinner itself is a serious throw back, luv it! It's just a tiny hole in the wall but it's very charming, and the staff are unbelievably charming. We had the best time just sitting and looking around,... More

This is an original Diner from the good ole days. Hop up on the one of the stool at the counter or take a seat at one of the tables. You will be greeted by the friendliest gals in town. They have daily homemade specials that are yummy! While you wait for your food, Check out all the ole time... More

Great large portions of home cooked meals. Small town wonderful location. Not a lot of space for a big group, the meal was hot and fresh.

I wasn't alive during that time period, but if I was I'm sure this diner resembles what it was really like. The menu is small, but they have all the basics- breakfast, burgers, hotdogs, chicken strips, and pie! We enjoyed our lunch here. My fiance had a chili dog and I had chicken strips. Both were very good and the... More

Ray's is what a REAL diner looks like. Tiny but great atmosphere and great, regular food. If you are craving a cheeseburger in a fun dive, this is your spot! Went for lunch--service was good and the ladies really know what they're doing. Be sure to grab a postcard with a pic of Ray's back in the day. Take a... More
