Two poached eggs on sourdough toast and butter on the side. Can't be that hard. Toast rock hard. Poached eggs, more like boiled eggs. After struggling with the first egg and toast, I requested a steak knife to cut through the second piece of toast. I passed on the feed back in relation to the toast and eggs being extremely... Booked a table on the deck which was perfect for the 3 year old in our party . Ordered some drinks including 2 Chardonnays , 2 glasses of sparkling came out . We mentioned it but drank them anyway . Food was good but not excellent . Kids meal was cute in a lunch pack . Got some scones to... More

Had lunch here. Delicious hamburger on specials board. Good variety of bakery goods. Disappointed in lemon meringue doughnut but everything else excellent . The setting in a nursery and X tensile gift shop makes it attractive. Large duckpond gives children a chance to feed the ducks.

The business has changed hands during the past few years and the quality had dropped, but speaking to family and friends, they had advised me that they are back up to scratch and worth revisiting. Went for lunch and was not disappointed. The food was very good and the service was also very good. The quality was there and also... More

We visited without a booking on their first day back after the Xmas break. Even though it was very busy we were shown a table and served quite quickly. The lunch special was a tart and quite nice. Only downside is the wine is served in a normal drink glass which took away the enjoyment factor. Cafe looks out onto... More

Cafe, shop and outdoor area with a large pond and ducks to feed. The cafe has select deserts and coffee, with a comfortable setting. I believe there are corporate/day spa packages which look worth it.

It was a special celebration today - an afternoon tea for an 80th birthday. There were about 65 Guests, mostly family and a few friends. The afternoon tea was plentiful and delicious - service was smoothly handled by Craig and his efficient staff. All in all, a great venue, wonderful staff and very attractive surroundings and there was plenty of... More

Greeted warmly at the door, Saturday lunch, no booking.......small but well thought out menu, fabulous table service, beautiful food and coffee. A great dining experience. Well worth a visit to the nursery, gift shop as well as the Cafe.

The morning after a wedding in Eltham we visited this delightful cafe/shop/nursery. The cafe was modern and the food was amazing. I would highly recommend the Grilled Mixed Mushies. The majority of guests ordered the Farmers Breakfast. The staff were friendly and the prices were reasonable.
