Local joint a 1/2 mile past the chain restaurants right off the exit. Drive another 2 minutes into downtown and you can't miss it. Quality home cooked breakfast amongst local clientele. Coffee could be better for a diner but food was above average. Quick service.
Traveling down I-70 and Google pulled up this diner in Concordia Mo. Was pleasently surprised to find a clean quiet place to eat breakfast. Menu has plenty of options..Server was very nice. And food was great. Small town pricing. Skillet breakfest was fantastic

When it came time for lunch, we'd already passed Kansas City and we were cruising east along I-70. We started looking on-line for possible restaurants in... More
Stopped for a late breakfast for me, and an early lunch for my husband. I had eggs over easy, and they were cooked perfectly. Whites of egg nicely cooked, and yolk nice and runny. My husband had the fish basket, and said it was very good. We topped off the meal with coconut cream pie for him, and blackberry cobbler... More
My husband and I enjoyed our visit there this morning for breakfast. I am always looking for neat little places like this while traveling and I am glad we stopped. Good people, great service and great food. They made sure your cup of coffee stayed hot and full:)
Decided to pull off I-70 and look for an eatery. Lucky us, we found Tipsy's. A delightful waitress, who has just graduated, gave us excellent service. Our delicious veggies, eggs and biscuit breakfast was served in an iron skillet. Quick, delicious and friendly. We were fully satisfied, well almost. We were sorry we didn't have room for the highly recommended... More
Stopped because highway sign said Home Cooked Food Since 1912. Thinking must be good since bee in business so long. Waitress said all soups homemade. Ordered Potato Soup, Vegetable Beef and Bean. All tasted from mixes, and not very good pre packaged mixes. Yuk! Also tried salad bar which had a minimal selection of tossed greens. Wait staff was nice... More
