Shakespeare's is a Columbia tradition - good and hot and fun to watch the guys while they make the pizzas. Often a piece of dough is tossed out for the children to play at making their own 'pie' - harder than it looks yet entertaining while waiting. Many of us gather at Shakespeare's for pizza and a beer in a... More

What can one say about a classic? Best Pizza in the state if not in country in a college town. They've been doing it right for many years. Cold beer and great pizza. Doesn't get any better than that!

This is one of my favorite places to relax and have a great piece of pizza. We don't eat there every time the kids want pizza but when we want that pizza place kind of experience this is the place we go. It's a wonderful place to meet up with friends or to take 'out of towners'. NOTE: There are... More

My last visit (last week) was for a local school fundraiser where 15% of sales were donated by Shakespeare's Pizza. That's community! I ate my whole meatlovers pizza in 3 meals. It's good hot or cold! The time before that (last month) was with an old Mizzou college friend whom I shared my first bite of Shakespeare's with in the... More

I read some reviews that state their pizza is not all that it's cracked up to be, and to each his/her own. But we went here last week and we thought their pizza was excellent. We ordered cheese, veggie, sausage, and pineapple & ham. If you have a certain kind of pizza in mind, maybe you will be disappointed. I've... More

Yes, the pizza here is good, but I don't share all that passion for Shakespeare's. What they really need to improve to be a 5 star is the amount of ingredients. If I can't have my perfect pizza it can't deserve a 5 star review.

Popular place, long wait, interesting seating, but the pizza was not anything I would write home about. Not sure I would want to go back for the food. Edible, but not great.

Assuming there is a universe outside of Columbia (which is TBD) this is the best pizza anywhere. Unreal. And good cocktails and beer too of course.

If you love pizza then you have to try Shakespeare, you haven't visited Columbia if you don't go to Shakespeare.
