We visited Broussard's and again left happy, full and enjoyed the atmosphere. Our waitress was on top of her game and was training a new employee and checking on her tables. They had a couple small tables and one very large group as well. Everyone was treated the same - very important! :) Definitely a family experience...

Best cajun restaurant around! I had the fried crawfish tails and my wife had the fried catfish. Both plates had more than we could eat so we had leftovers the next day. The tails were cooked perfectly and I added a sprinkle of lemon to them then dipped them in the cocktail sauce that comes with the dish. Their boiled... More

My husband and I ate here on a Sunday for lunch. The restaurant is in a older building, decorated really nicely. The service was great, but the food was amazing. We ordered cheese fries, and they were cooked crispy, covered in cheese sauce and bacon crumbles, and some sort of fantastic seasoning, just unbelievable. I had the steak, it was... More

I'm not even a huge Cajun food fan and I thought the food here was excellent. Huge portions, good service, and a good drink menu. Excellent choice!

I like to pick a special place for my yearly Birthday outing, and needed a Po'Boy fix. We ordered a Dozen Oysters on the half shell which were excellent. And two shrimp Po'Boys, the sandwiches came on soft buns with a fair amount of shrimp (not generous) and the sandwichs were slathered in catsup. That is the first ever of a... More

We are sorry if you had this impression, but we do not serve ketchup on our po' boys. We serve cocktail sauce. We're sorry if it wasn't tasty, as is usually the case. More

We go here to eat when we can and it's always great. Oysters on the half have always been fresh and very good. Wide variety of cajun good that is all good. The hurricanes are very good here as well. You can't go wrong stopping in here to eat.

A few years ago, I would have easily given Broussard's a 5/5 rating. Since their remodel though, it seems the food took a bit of a plunge. The consensus with my friends and family was that the food, while decent, wasn't really worth the long trip & parking hassle anymore.

The setting is on Main Street near the river. It's in a cool old part of town. Park my can be challenging with the small street parking. I found a corner lot, parked and walked half a block. The place has old tall brick walls. The old brick kept just enough of the old town feeling but the place was... More

This is the second time eating here in the past 12 months. We were there on the Saturday night before Mardi Gras. The place was packed, but our wait was only 45-50 minutes. If you like Cajun, you have to try this place.

Thank Tom T
