Great burgers, fried pickles and history. This is the Hollywood that Marc Cohn sang about in the song "Walkin in Memphis."

Very good catfish and hush puppies. The song "Walking in Memphis" is written about this place. On the weekends , there is music at night. Lunches are very good also, plate lunches available. Located in an old commissary in Robinsonville, just north of Tunica.

We stopped for lunch at the Hollywood Cafe - had a great meal! My husband had the special - country fried steak with 3 choices for sides plus cornbread. I had the pulled pork with slaw and beans. Both meals were delicious. Thanks to our waitress Rita who was very helpful and friendly and made our visit enjoyable. The prices... More

The food and service were both excellent. A singer began performing during our meal. He was pretty good so we decided to stay for awhile after finishing our dinner and enjoy the music. Our waitress came over and informed us that if we stayed beyond 3 songs we would be charged a cover charge. We had just purchased $30 worth... More

What a great place! Anytime we frequent the Delta for a road trip, we always time our trip around a meal so that we can stop at The Hollywood Cafe! The fried dill pickles are divine and I think they have actually been featured on the Food Network. Burgers are great as well. I have not gone wrong with anything... More

It has the old look and feel of a blues cafe' so much that I was ready for Muriel Jenkins or Son House to come out and perform. The catfish dinner was great. My wife turned her nose up a bit when I told her this was the place where fried pickles was created; that is until she at one!... More

First visited this place in the late 90's and still this is a great beer joint. All on the menu is very good. You have to have the fried pickles; and I bet you cannot finish the "Belly Buster"

Frog legs were great and so was sausage. I had classic fried green tomatoes and this ishome of fried dill pickle. Both are classics for reason. People here are sooo nice. I discovered I love dilled okra, so crunchy and tangy. This place doesn't like much on outside, don't let that scare you. You will be rewarded and feel like... More
