I went once and it was wonderful! I really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. I had a red snapper special and everything was cooked perfectly! I’m not exactly dying to go back, but if it was an option I absolutely wouldn’t turn it down.

We dropped in after work on a Friday. Sat in the bar, and still had prompt, attentive service. The appetizer was the cheese plate. It was attractive, plated well, and a good temp for the cheese. I ordered the Bistro Steak. I -never- order steak...More
The Veranda has been a staple in Starkville for years now. I have dined there dozens of times, and never had a bad meal. If you are in Starkville for only one night, this is where you should dine. Make sure to begin with the...More
What a pleasant Starkville experience! With only one night to spend here in town we could not have spent a more pleasant meal. My wife indulged in the steak special offering Cajun style. Her filet was prepared to perfection as was the accompanying grilled shrimp...More

Good food but Baja the bartender had a bad attitude and NEVER washed his hands. Saw him grab olives and cherries from a jar with his bare hands and NEVER wash his hands between. Our egg rolls were good and the beer was cold. Tje...More
Business is always more exciting when paired with happy hour! We had a great afternoon full of nachos, spring rolls, margaritas, and beer. What better way to end the day?
The lunch specials are pretty good and affordable. If you miss those, the appetizers and dinners are better than average. The service is also above average. Try the Kobe burger, you won't be disappointed
