Overall I am happy with this restaurant. But...this time round Fri 30 July 2020 I had two pizza which were burnt on underside. This left a bitter taste to an otherwise decent pizza. No love in this pizza and it showed. (Busy nite?) . No...excuse for the price that was paid.$57.00.More

Five of us for dinner on a Sunday night, mate suggested Motza and we weren’t disappointed. The menu features pizzas and the traditional Italian staples of bolognaise etc. we chose one pizza, three 4 cheese gnocchi and another of spaghetti with anchovy paste, prawns, capers...and chilli. The gnocchi was decadently rich with a good whack of Gorgonzola and pretty good gnocchi, not stodgy but could be a touch fluffier. My wife’s spaghetti dish was very good, wonderfully balanced, not too oily and with perfect spaghetti, a wonderful dish. Great hosts and great service, a limited wine list but covered most bases. Well worth a visit if you’re in the area.More

The pappardelle lamb ragu pasta is a must! Paired with the rocket salad was a win for me. We sat outside on the patio which was lovely. The restaurant was quiet. We went mid week for dinner. Well designed, clean bathrooms. Quite dark inside the...actual restaurant. We did have to ask the waiter for water after sitting for 10 minutes (would prefer cold water to warm) also salt and pepper half way through the meal as there was none on outdoor tables. Would be good to offer pepper when meals are served. We will return again!More

Amazing food, highly recommended if you haven’t been there already, especially the gelato. Very good quality. I will definitely come again.

So I ordered my pizza at 5:15 PM with a delivery time at 6:30 PM. I had to call the restaurant twice to make sure my order was coming. Pizza was good, but delivery time really destroyed everything. So like I said, the set delivery...time was 6:30 PM and it arrived at 7:26!!!!!!! only 4 minutes from an hour late. Would not buy again and you probably shouldn't too.More

Been here several times and have never been disappointed. Great pizzas using quality toppings combined with a rather large salad makes for a really pleasant meal. House wine very drinkable and excellent value. Friendly, attentive staff complete the night.

Stumbled upon this little gem hidden under the shops in Castlecrag. Wasn’t expecting anything - was BLOWN AWAY!!! The mushroom gnocchi were out of this world - the pizza - way better than anything else in a 10km radius. Antipasto - simple good, wine list...- again reasonably priced - good. Toilets clean, family friendly - outdoor seating if that’s your thing - really can’t fault the joint.More

Only second to Via Napoli. These pizzas are the real deal - authentic, fresh, soft, delicious and melt in your mouth. They are my new favourite local. Well done!

Service friendly and prompt. Admittedly it was early and few tables were occupied. Decor welComing. Good knowledge of their drinks menu. The SAN Giovese house wine was delicious. Pizza was excellent. The mushroom pizza was full of truffle oil and garlic and portobello mushrooms. Yum....We also tried the calzone which equally was good. We had a spaghetti side which was cooked perfectly al dente. Very tasty. Menu is very limited, but this IS a pizzeria after all! Will definitely be going back. Only pity is the location which is somewhat off the beaten track and not really visible from Edinburgh road which is a pity. This place is a real keeper!! Ps, If you speak Portuguese and want to practise, Richard (Ricardo) is more than happy to let you practise on him!!!More
