I've eaten here numerous times and it has the greatest fried chicken that I've ever eaten. All the other "country food" is just as good. If there don't skip the okra and tomatoes, cornbread dressing and blackberry cobbler, with ice cream.

The fried chicken here is the best we have ever tried. The rest of the buffet was ho-hum, but the crown jewel is the chicken. Don't bother eating anything but the chicken. Next time I would get a take out of just the chicken and...More

If your looking for southern cooking at it's finest this is it. You can enjoy fried chicken, vegetables, and blackberry or peach cobbler. There are plenty of antiques if your looking to shop.

Do stop by and enjoy excellent southern home cooking in a buffet style. At 15$ it is pricey but worth every penny. The greens , mustard and collard were fantastic. The fried chicken is like you remember years ago. All in all is great stop.

Please add this restaurant. I found it when we stayed in Port Gibson, MS. it is about 8 miles out of town. It is on yelp. You can see it here: http://www.yelp.com/biz/old-country-store-lorman-2, it is also on roadfood.com. It is very inexpenisive and the food is very good. Moreover, the owner is a character. He sings to you. The waitresses treat you like relatives. It is truly a wonderful experience.
