If you love, love, love po-boys, like my husband and I do, you have to visit Peter's Po Boys. I always have the roast beef and it is messy and delicious, as you would expect a roast beef po-boy to be. My husband always has the shrimp po-boy and he loves it. The po- boy has numerous fried shrimp. BUT,... More

This place is Asian/Cajun and this is typical in south Louisiana. After all Chinese were eating boiled crawfish before there even was a Louisiana. Chinese American food is very popular in Cajun Louisiana, but this is Mississippi. The poboy had the correct bread, poboy outside of Louisiana are often served on the wrong bread. Poboy bread is not French, it's... More

Somehow I missed my chance to have an oyster po boy in New Orleans and was determined to find one on the drive home! As other reviewers noted the atmosphere and neighborhood are not the best but the food was fantastic. It was all very fresh and hot. And the prices were very reasonable. They have a small po boy,... I have read reviews on here, and I have heard people rave about this restaurant. I decided to try it since I was craving a shrimp poboy. I WAS NOT disappointed. The shrimp were sizable and falling off the poboy. The bread is New Orleans french bread so it is a little more tough than what most people prefer. Highly... More

Don't be scared off by the looks of this place. Wonderful Poboys & gumbo. Try the soft shelled crab Poboys if they are in season. Shrimp Poboys if they are not. Price is definitely right also.

Stopped in here based on reviews. Stopped at the Hattiesburg Zoo first! Great little zoo! The owner of the restaurant was very sweet and helped us with menu choices and we tried the gumbo and the shrimp poboys and the fried catfish and she substituted one piece of fried chicken in the meal. Prices were excellent for amount of food... More

We stopped a Peter's a few weeks ago en route to New Orleans. We purchased two shrimp po-boys (our first ever), and fried rice. The po-boys were enormous!! They were the single most delicious food we've ever eaten! The fried rice was equally delicious. The only thing that rivals the taste, is the price. For around $16 we ate like... More

When you drive up to this place, you think what a dump! Don't judge it by how run down the building is. The food is wonderful!!! I got carry out and they made it fresh. The wait was reasonable and we really enjoyed the food. We had an oyster po-boy which was great. They have 4 lengths, 7", 10", 15"... More

I came here from Florida, playing in the ASHB, and I've never had a Po Boy before so I can't honestly say I know a good Po Boy. But, I can say that I know good food and this is REALLY GOOD. My first thoughts when I pulled up were "Holy crap, this place is run down", and "This is... More
