The food was average. It was not as good as we have had in the past. The staff were very friendly and the prices were average

Firstly 2 stars is only because of the lovely lady serving the meals.. If it wasn't for her wonderful attitude and great cheerful service we would have scored the place a 0. Sunday night. 35 - 40 people in the dining room, maybe 50 at...a stretch. Upon making it to the counter we were politely informed to expect at 45 minute wait. No problems. The Links calls it's self the HOUSE of Snitzels, the menu features them. The venue even has two sizes on offer.. Midi and Mega. Both in Beef (topside - by the looks of the ones walking out the kitchen) and chicken No size/ weights are stated on the menu that we could see... don't expect a Mega Snitzel when ordering one... We ordered 2 Mega Chickens... both with toppings. Meat lovers and Mexican. Snitzels were the standard pub sized 250 - maybe 300gms on a lucky day fare. Deep fried till dry and topped with a pretty average sauce. Mexican - 3 corn chips, 4 slices of Jalapeno a thin lick of pizza/ nap sauce a bit of avocado paste/ puree/ dip and pub standard melty cheese. Meat lovers - master food bbq sauce a slice of cheap deli ham and some highly processed pizza meat, same horrible melty cheese. The veg bar was empty... 4 pieces of pumpkin and some left over cheese sauce in a tray. The salad bar was full, canned beetroot, canned corn, left over pasta in a salad, dry coleslaw and a cheap may attempt at a waldorf.....minus the good stuff.. One of the most laughable meals we have had out in a while... Won't return. Not sure how the place survives... POKIES I'm guessing... Seaton hotel, lockleys hotel both do much much better food. Saving grace as stated was out lovely waitress..More

Thought we would try somewhere local and different but regretted it. House of schnitzel is a laugh as it was the most over priced $30 and horrible schnitzel ever. My girls had a salad bar at $11 each which was average and again way overpriced....I actually don’t know how it survives. Very disappointed and won’t be going back.More

Absolutely delicious steaks and a good range of salads & veges in the sneeze-bar. Large dining room so you're bound to get a table. Friendly, helpful staff. Good selection of ice cold beers and decent coffee.

Headed to the Links for a quick meal with 3 friends, ordered burgers and a schnitzel. Waited 1 hour and 20 minutes. Terrible service and no updates from staff. After eating the food no-one was impressed and I have had better tasting burgers from McDonalds....I will never be returning to the Links Hotel.More
