We ordered a penne pasta and marsala. I asked to remove the alcohol from the marsala. You had previously added broccoli and capsicum for free at your own suggestion. This time I likewise got you to add the extra ingredients thinking you would not charge...for it. You charged us extra $6 for the broccoli, capsicum and chili (which no other Mondo Fresco does). Every other restaurant informs us that there would be extra charge for any additional ingredients. You are quite unapologetic about it only stating that "management" had changed their decision. worst cafe ever

This place is a dump there is no service food is crap and they don't serve coffee, the two staff on this visit one was to busy to notice we were there and kept sweeping while the other popped out of nowhere and just stood...there .More

Not Italian!

I am Italian so I know a bit about Italian food. This place made me the worst plate of pasta that I have ever had. I asked for prawn fettuccine without Parmesan because YOU DO NOT PUT PARMESAN ON FISH, it's the first commandment of...Italian cuisine. Look at reputable sources of information if you don't believe me :). They said all their prawn dishes had Parmesan in them (showing their knowledge of Italian cuisine is non existent) except for one so I made the mistake of ordering it. What arrived was pasta drowned in a red sauce so hot you could not taste anything including the poor prawns that were also drowned in the sauce. I would accept that for an Indian dish (a Vindaloo perhaps) but not what was supposed to be an Italian pasta. Great way to ruin good pasta and good prawns, I reckon. My husband ordered penne and he got served fettuccine, so not what he ordered, that were also too hot to taste and drowned in a creamy sauce. Not going ever again.More

Surprisingly Good

I wasn't sure what to expect after having a disastrous experience with another Italian food takeaway business. I decided to have some spaghetti bolognaise and garlic bread delivered and was quite impressed with the quality. It is rare that I buy Italian as I usually...make it myself but it was nice to have it made by someone else for a change. If I do order Italian in the future this place will definitely be on my mind.More

Great Fresh Tasting Pizza!

We were looking for a new pizza place to try and discovered this place through menulog. Ordered online and Pizza was ready by the time we got there. Food delivery

I discovered Mondo Fresco through Menu log and am glad I did. The food is delicious and my favourite is the cannelloni. And the chips. Greek salad was pretty good but not as nice as the cannelloni. Yes it's not on the cheap side, but...I have no complaints because the food is delicious and service is friendly. They're on my go to list for ordering dinner in.More

Hard to return

Went here for lunch on a coupon, the décor is very basic, the service very prompt and the servings extremely good, it is a very basic restaurant which is more suited to the lunch trade for workers, but the biggest killer is trying to get...a parking spot within 300/400m, I think that there are plenty of other similar places within the area that are far superior, but give it a try yourselves.More

Fresh pasta?

My partner and I wanted a quick takeaway the other night. He order chicken parmigiana and I ordered spaghetti bolognese. Given the website indicates that everything is made in house and fresh, I was hopeful. What turned up was disappointing to say the least.
