We’ve been a few times these last few weeks. Really friendly staff on the floor and the food is seriously good. Book so you’re not disappointed

The coffee was excellent the service less so and they weren’t super busy. But having gone for breakfast I was disappointed to find no croissants and no marmalade. That’s not adequate.

My wife and I visited The Old Laundry for breakfast on a cold Friday morning. We were welcomed warmly and asked to select a table while the staff member got us some menus. Coffee/tea orders were taken immediately. The venue is very open and a...tad chilly on the morning we visited. The food, though, is top notch. The best breakfast my wife and I have had this year and we've been to quite a few restaurants. The menu has some unusual dishes scattered amongst the normal offerings. My wife's avocado dish was given a big thumbs up. My black pudding crostone was divine especially with the lovely soft-as-silk 'cheese' on the thick pieces of crunchy toast. My sort of dish. Prices are ok, service is very good, food is amazing. We'll visit again. I've got my eye on the white chocolate porridge!More

On Saturday 20 June met 2 friends for a catch up mid afternoon....there were a few problems, no-one greeting guests, signing them in as the Covid 19 protocol.... I thought this was a standard procedure ? There was a long table across from us, during...the course of the afternoon had at least 30 /40 people and their children catching up...very noisy, no social distancing, many of them were standing around, making it impossible for us to have a conversation. This is ok in normal times I suppose, but not during the rules the govt put in place.. people need to be seated etc. why don’t the bar managers know the rules? Please get your game on guys.. we expect better. So happy to support small business but need you to respect what is happening in the world.. get trained.More

Great dinner with interesting choices and flavors. Thoroughly enjoyed all that we ate. The Cauliflower was fantastic as was the pressed lamb and tagliatelle. I would dine here again..... although acoustically it may be a little noisy with a larger number of people. I can...thoroughly recommend the food.More

Unfortunately today they seemed as though they didn't know they would be open. Poor, confused service and average food, that didn't look or taste appealing (toasted sandwiches was all that was on the menu, that wasn't on the website). They also swapped the corned beef...out of my meal, to ham. Being a Coeliac, that's not something that should be done without informing the customer. Also, religious reasons could be a factor, which luckily didn't apply to me. When I asked, the waiter had to check it was gluten free (it was, by luck, not management). They seemed a bit confused and scattered today. Coffee was ok. I appreciate they are getting back on their feet but we weren't the only disappointed customers.More

Started average ended very well for most folk. Waitress was a little off but perked up during service. 4 coffees ordered - 4/5. Hot chocolate: 3/5. Mango smoothie ordinary. Lemon crepes great. Bircher great, poached eggs ordinary, omelette more like a fried egg: 3/5. Will...try it againMore

Wanted to treat the older son and his girlfriend to dinner to celebrate his birthday. As I visit this venue for multiple different dining options from coffee, lunch or dinner I booked for the younger crew to try. Great service and excellent food that was...completed by a fabulous wine selection. Easy parking and relaxed atmosphere we celebrated together and everyone was impressed with the choice. My go to close home every time.More
