Betty's is always busy. The food is very average and the pie isn't any better. They are well equipped to handle large numbers and the parking lot is huge. If you want good food try the New Scenic Cafe. If you want great pie try the Rustic Inn.

Betty's Pies is a North shore tradition. It has been around since 1956. The most unique thing they make is their shakes...pick your favorite flavor pie slice, add three scoops of vanilla ice cream, milk and blend! Yummy! Pie in a cup! The family ordered apple pie, blueberry pie and triple chocolate. They were all delicious. Large portion sizes.($7.50) They... More

You can NEVER go wrong at Betty's! Come for the food, stay for the pie! If ordering a pie, make sure to ask for a list! There are a lot more pie options than the cafe has available on site.

The restaurant is always busy, no matter when you go there. But the wait is generally pretty short and it is worth it. The staff is friendly and helpful. The food is diner type food- good. But the pies are awesome. So many choices, that vary by the day. The restaurant also has a view of lake superior. It has... More

Great service, great breakfast, great pie! Camping in 32 degree weather gave us big appetites which Betty's was able to satisfy. Great coffee, eggs, hash browns, ham and pie makes the world go round! No waiting for a table in November!

They have the best and freshest selection of pies. However, my favorite is when they take a pie, add some ice cream, and whirl it into a malt. You need a nap after that one. Regular food is good, but the pie is the thing. Only caveat is that they don't serve single servings of the sauerkraut pie anymore. You... More

This place is everything everyone raves about. Had a delish lunch on a Friday around 11:30 p.m. A few open booths but filled up very quickly. I had the Fish N Chips (waitress assured me it was tasty) - very good - loved the fish. Hubby had a Burger which was HUGE and he said very good. THEN it was... More

We've enjoyed pies there a couple of times. They were good and reasonably priced. The ambiance and service aren't great but they are tolerable. It isn't a must stop place for us on our annual trips to Cove Point.

We stopped here for lunch after spending the morning at Gooseberry Falls. There was a wait, but there usually is here. The staff was friendly. Food was delicious. Pie was great.

Thank Corey H
