Day trip from Duluth along the scenic northshore drive. Stopped at the Rustic for lunch. Good service and food. Would stop again. Fun gift shop next door.

The Rustic Inn has hands down the best pie in Two Harbors, not Betty's Pies! The north shore locals know this, it is the tourists that do not! I definitely recommend this pie over Betty's Pies.

While I can't say that everything is fabulous, breakfast is- Take the coffeecake and run! The service was 10x better than last year and the coffee was great as always-Maybe next year we'll try stopping for lunch!

We stopped here on the way from Split Rock to Duluth for lunch. My husband and I both ordered a soup, half sandwich and pie. The chicken wild rice soup was great. I ordered Peanut Butter pie and my husband got Berry crisp...They were both delicious! The server was very attentive and friendly. I would recommend this spot!

We pulled in here just as the heavy snow started coming down. The Rustic interior combined with the snow falling outside on the pines made it a surreal atmosphere. The food was good and the pie to die for. Also enjoyed their very nice gift shop.

My husband and I recently spent a couple of days on the North Shore to celebrate our wedding anniversary. When deciding where to eat our anniversary dinner, I looked at the online menus of a few restaurants in the area. The Rustic Inn Cafe was closest to where we were staying and they had a New York strip steak on... More

Have stopped here for breakfast several times on the way to gooseberry falls, today we stopped for lunch. Really good club sandwich, great burger, and the pie is better than Betty's.

We've stopped here in the past for lunch. It was always very good. Pies are tasty. Strawberry rhubarb is my favorite. This time we had breakfast. It wasn't crowded on Saturday morning. Food was yummy. Portions are good. The pancakes were a little yeasty tasting, not sure if that's normal, otherwise we like this place a lot.

Great food and awesome service. The chef walked up to our table and offered to make a vegetarian dish for my mother. Am a hotelier too and consider this as true 'customer delight'. Nice and cosy for a family dinner.

A must when we visit. The decor is northern. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The hot beef is a must try. It's a family favorite. For breakfast the cranberry wild rice French toast is the best ever. And let's not forget the pie. O' the pie. Favorites are the lemon angel, pecan, peach/cherry and carmel apple. They have... More
