I haven't been back to this bar for decades but still is a landmark. I had a bratwurst patty with grilled sauerkraut on rye toast The good is so good and a nostalgic atmosphere. It is not downtown so it has remained a hidden gem.

Came back to childhood home and childhood memories. A Burgermeister was one of them. Stopped with a friend for the original Burgermeister and fries. Just like days of old. Good, greasy and nice memory. The place was just as it was when I left 20...More
A local favorite, this place oozes a neighborhood dive bar atmosphere. Large greasy burgers are a must with fried onions. Sides of fries and/or onion rings also recommended. For those with a sense of adventure, try a mystery shot poured from a bottle enclosed in...More
Meisters bar & grill is another fantastic old school location that has always done well because it has great food and great service. Everything we ordered was spot on for flavor and our waitress was friendly and attentive. Nice job.
I would classify this place as "an old time hamburger joint". Hamburgers, Fries, and a frosty COLD beer! Service friendly.
My girlfriend and I ate at Meister’s Bar & Grill on the evening of November 5, 2016. After ordering we waited for approximately 30 minutes for our food. I asked our waitress Michelle if there was a problem. Michelle stated they had a large call–in...More
Great place for burgers and fries. Fast service. An institution in Stillwater. Also, has a Meister's in Scandia.
Stopped in for dinner. The burgers are good but kind of expensive since they say they are 1/3 lb (but doesn't appear to be) and don't come with fries. Service was excellent.
Nice quiet bar atmosphere and still good for families. Delicious burger and wonderful greasy crispy fries! Love to go there for the last thirty years. It is a Stillwater staple.
This has been a place to come and eat and have a beer or cocktail in a very comfortable setting. Families are welcome, too. This has been in the same family since 1948.
