We stopped there with our 1 year old for dinner but had to settle for appetizers since he wouldn't behave. We had a pizza and walleye bites on happy hour prices and also two glasses of white wine. I was impressed to see William Hill Chardonnay at $6. Lowest price in a restaurant I ever saw. We will surely come... More

We are members of Bonfire Club and have ate here often but this trip was terrible we ordered soup, bull bites and French dip. We requested soup be extra hot and it came out slightly above room temperature, ordered bull bite medium well they came out medium rare either the waitress did not listen or the kitchen did not care.... This was our first visit, the look and feel was amazing. Our waiter was great. He was very helpful and knew his menu. Our meal was nice to look at and delicious. My drinks were also perfect. We loved it.

I've been to Axel's Bonfire many times in the past. This visit was one of the worst dinners I have had anywhere. We sat at the bar at 6:30 on a Friday and ordered 2 glasses of wine from a far too busy bartender who thought my order of Zinfandel from the menu meant white zin. How many 46 year... More

I truly like Bonfire's food and is a fun place to go for brunch. Unfortunately, we had very spotty service during all 4 visits, a couple of the visits the service was horrible! After talking with management, they don't seem to concerned. Which is too bad, given we only live 5 mins away.

I like going to popular restaurants that have good food and know how to handle a crowd. Got right in. Server was great -- attentive, knowledgeable, and funny. Even though it was busy, we did not feel rushed or crowded. Great appetizers. I would recommend the Bull bites. Beef brisket sandwich really thick--took half home. Wife always orders the chicken... It was a Saturday night, and we had to wait 30 minutes...which was fine. The place seemed absolutely packed. The service was pretty good, but our food was as blah as always. This was our third trip here in the last few months, and nothing we order is ever very good. It seems like a good place to go for... More

Who does quality control in regards to checking food before being served. I ordered a cheeseburger it was charbroiled (black.) sent back. One Ordered quesadilla's cold. One got the wrong potatoes and was told by the server I just write it down they served it wrong. Prime rib cold. I paid $75 for my dinner and not once were we... More

Start with the Caesar Salad at the appetizer bar, lettuce was wilted and nasty. BBQ Ribs were the best. Now to the main meal. Beef was over done and tough, turkey was as well. Nothing worst on Thanksgiving than eating pressed turkey. Corn bread stuffing was bland and cranberry relish was terrible. Sweet potatoes were fine but portion size was... More

My food arrived at the table cold. Stuffing and turkey were dry. Sweet potatoes were good--too bad they only give you about a tablespoon. I filled up on the ribs, as they were decent and hot. Pumpkin pie was fine. Surprised the other dessert was Tiramisu, not pecan or apple pie. On balance, it was a bland, forgettable meal. I... More
