I went there to meet and old friend. It was not crowded (on a Monday night), and the service was friendly, timely, and attentive. It's an attractive place. My Popper Burger was tasty (fries were good too) and the rest of the menu looked good, too. The tap beer list was impressive. All in all, I wouldn't say this place... More

We stopped in with friends and sat at the bar for dinner. The food was good, standard American pub grub. Enjoyed the Philly cheesesteak sawndwich. However, the service was poor at the bar. The bartender had to be reminded three times to bring us water, and he never brought a second drink that was ordered for one of the people... More

Always good food and service! Typical bar food, fun games like shuffleboard, etc. Younger crowd but older peeps fit in too. Located in Mears Park in St. Paul

Taking the train to Portland from St Paul. The pub across the street from the station was closed, so we walked here. I'm glad we did! Noisy during a football game (imagine that), but pleasant none the less. Great burger with Tillamook cheese, and REALLY good bacon. Fabulous fries... I'd return just for those! Quesadillas (vegtarian) I'm told were mediocre,... More

Great food and appetizers, beer selection is very good and good prices. Went with some friends for a birthday weekend and stopped here on a Friday night. Service was fast and friendly. Definitely worth looking into if in town.

LOVE THE BULLDOG! Had a little happy hour action with some coworkers/friends last night and as usual the service was fantastic. The patrons are always friendly and make conversation with the folks around them (sitting up at the bar) and it feels so welcoming and homey. The food is amazing. I am from Canada so I am particular about how... More

First cosmopolitan I had was amazing. Ordered a 2nd & it was awful. Told the server & all they did was bring more cranberry juice. Very disappointed! Food was ok but not spectacular. Convenient downtown location.

We made a post wedding stop for a drink and appetizer. We were pleased with the beer and drink choices, but extremely happy with their appetizer menu .... Especially the cheese curds! They are battered with a light, tasty batter!! So glad we stopped!!!

Staff is fast and friendly, lots of craft beers to choose from and their food is always awesome. They have 40 beers on tap, mostly craft and specialty. Everything I've ever eaten here has been good. They have the best chicken wings of any place I have ever eaten. Their Chicago beef is also very good. If you in the... More
