This is a small Mexican restaurant in a Minneapolis suburb that features authentic Mexican food obviously prepared from family recipes. The flavors and preparations are unique in Minnesota for those accustomed to the usual types of Mexican restaurant. They call themselves a taqueria, and I must say that I absolutely adored their tacos during a recent visit - and also... More

This is an awesome little authentic Mexican joint in a small strip mall in Richfield MN. It's a little on the hard side to find as the storefront is not on Lyndale but on the side of the building. It is basic inside and the menu is simple and fairly short but has everything you want. The Al Pastor Burrito... More

Yes, it is a dive with minimal decor in a small strip mall. The food is great, the counter person was willing to customize for my brother and you can eat very inexpensively. Tacos: Buche - pork stomach Acorazado Milaneza - beef head Carnitas Cheese enchiladas Asada burrito All of the above were very good.

If you can't make it to the streets of Merida or beaches of Cancun, pop in here for the best authentic taco you can get in Minnesota. The carne asada is the best in town. Their beans and rice are awesome. The burritos are enormous and delicious. It's easy for take out, but you can stay and eat there too.... More

We were very happy to discover this restaurant and how good the food is. We were looking for a good neighborhood place to try that had good quality and good value.

This in not taco bell... This is real cooked while you wait authentic Mexican food. Simple hot and delicious. There is no real atmosphere... Just some tables and chairs and a counter. But the tacos and tomales are amazing. Yes you are eating off Styrofoam plates, but it is worth it if you miss eating street food from mexico! Could... More

My wife has owned several prize winning Mexican restaurants based on old family recipes . Thus when we have a meal that she raves about, it is time to pay attention. We found just such a place by accident and have gone back numerous times. It has become a favorite. This is the Taqueria El Ranchito at 6415 Lyndale Ave... More

I an order of refried beans and 2 pork tacos. The beans were excellent! The pork in the tacos was too chewy for me. The burritos looked huge and tempting. I will go back and try a burrito instead.
