Very clean, friendly and tasty. Two of us ordered breakfast for lunch. Nice crispy bacon. Lunch buffet was very nice. Waitress was friendly and kind. Gave extra attention to my 8 yr old son. Pancakes are huge. Definitely worth the stop. It's a travel center you can expect to find pretty much what you want.

Didn't seem clean. Hamburger and fries were poor quality. Waitress had a cold and was touching her nose. We won't go there again.

I'm a regular here - about once a month when passing by at lunch time on Sunday mornings. Their buffet is going full blast, but that's too much temptation for me, so I stick to the "Trucker's Special" - 2 eggs any style, couple of strips of hearty bacon, excellent hash browns, 2 slices of brown bread toast, jelly, coffee,... It looks like a truck shop from the outside, but is a local hangout too. I haven't had diner there, but many breakfasts and a few lunches. I had an excellant chicken salad yesterday with plenty of salad dressing which tasted homemade. They have a huge room to have a big group too. If you like your coffee hot, you... More

I needed a little breakfast and decided this was the place. Portions were generous and staff efficient and courteous. Food was typical truck stop food that was nothing special. I would return if in the area again

This was my first time at the big steer but definitely won't be my last whenever I'm in the area of the Twin Cities it will be well worth the drive down Interstate 35 to get a meal and the great service definitely one of the better restaurants that I have ate at in Minnesota and if you're really lucky... Traveling down the freeway, starving, wanting a sit down yet casual meal. This truck stop diner fit the bill perfectly. Husband ordered dinner buffet even though it was almost buffet closing time. He thought the food was very good, and had a very fresh salad from the salad bar. I ordered the 'commercial' gravy over roast beef, bread, and mashed... More

First, they have the best chocolate malts! Breakfast, lunch and dinner buffets too. Everything we've ever had there is good. It's my husband and my favorite place to get a nice variety of well priced great food.

Great find on a Sunday morning while travelling RT 35. This truck stop diner made our day with a super breakfast buffet at a reasonable price. Add a full carafe of coffee, and we were set till suppertime! Wait staff was smiling and friendly, too! We highly recommend stopping here for a hearty meal.

Thank Linda N
