This beautiful cafe is a gem in the outback. A group of us (15+ pax) drove from the Bunya Mountains to see what was around the area. WE came without notice this cafe to find the scones and cakes had just come out of the oven. The bruschetta on the menu is to die for. I have been back three times just to have it.

We returned for the amazing food and lovely surroundings.
Our choices -Lamb pie with mash and mushy peas, great coffee and Macadamia Pineapple and Coconut Loaf - were all delicious and service was great, even though they had 3 large groups attending celebrations of different sorts.
We’ll be back soon!
PS Make sure you cross the road after your meal and stroll through the Biblical gardens (free entry, donations accepted). An amazing space full of mosaics and sculptures, and frequented by birds of all sizes. A very special experience!!

I have just finished eating a Steak Sandwich. I’m usually hesitant to buy a SS, because there are so many ways to ruin one; tough steak, old salad, soggy toast etc. This was the most delicious steak sandwich I’ve ever eaten. It was served on Turkish Bread, with copious amounts of fresh salad. The housemade mayo was outstanding, and the steak was unbelievably tender. I also has an iced latte, which was perfect.

Been there on 3 occasions now. Never go back. Asked for bacon and eggs and nothing else, on two occasions, just the bacon and eggs on a plate on their own. Got salad stuff and pepper the first time so asked specifically not to have salad and pepper the second time and guess what I got. I can not eat peppers or spices and that is why I was very specific about not having pepper put on it by them. Today I simply asked for a straight white coffee with 2 sugars. Had not arrived with in half an hour. When the wait person asked if everyone had their orders, I told her I was still waiting for my coffee. She reafirmed my order, and as it hadn't arrived 10 minutes later, I got up and left. Was out at the street ,when the lady tried to bring it to me there. Told her my wife gave birth to twins quicker than the service there and they could get stuffed. I was pretty upset with the lack of service, on 3 separate occasions, and was talking and whinging to my mates about it when the owner or whoever came out and told me I was not welcome there again. You couldn't pay me to go back there.

the staff was so friendly, we order pancakes with ice-cream ,syrup and Marple bacon. At first when staff brought the meal out I thought they were pikelet , not as big as some pancakes, it was average, the coffee was excellent. Prices were reasonable.Very interesting inside with all the different decorations

About 4th visit to this great little cafe.
Today, nearly 10/10. Cake of the day scrumcious, good coffee & friendly service.
Only letdown was the malted milk - wld have to be the worst in Aust. Obviously no icecream, minimal flavouring & malt powder was floating on top of milk, no froth - mixed by hand? Made by a 10 year old?

A gem of a surprise. Fantastic food and an amazing atmosphere. I wasn’t expecting this when I went to Bell. It was a on Thursday, the pub wasn’t serving lunch, tried to get lunch at another near by town before this. So
I was really frustrated and this place was a surprise.

We were advised to arrive early because it can get very busy so we arrived just after opening time on a Saturday morning and we were the only diners for a little while but then lots of people starting coming in and kept coming in. Our coffees were excellent. We also ordered both savoury and sweet breakfast items. All very good. Most enjoyable. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the venue is tastefully decorated with lots of items of furniture and trinkets from yesteryear. Toilets are also located inside so it is all very comfortable and convenient. Definitely recommend.

Arrived at 9am for breakfast, ordered 2 coffees and sat down in the garden. 15 minutes later, and the young waitress said sorry, our coffees had been forgotten
Coffee arrived, we asked for some sugar. 10 minutes later ... Sorry, we forgot your sugar
One meal arrived without utensils. We asked for utensils, they brought out one knife. (Sorry, we'll get you a fork)
Time to pay, and they charged us the wrong amount. Unfortunately, good service is sadly lacking here.

So pleased we didn't follow the main route from Dalby back to the coast, we would have missed not only a beautiful quiet drive, but this little gem.
A beautifully set out establishment, plenty of space for larger groups inside and out.
I adored the decor, and spent a bit of time taking it all in, just lovely.
The staff were so friendly and helpful, thank you ladies.
Coffee and tea both very good (a takeaway for the coffee it was that good), and the morning tea was also lovely.
Will drop in for breakfast next time!

We were there on the 25th Msy and had
a lovely cake of the day it was scrumptious.
Such a gem we were sorry we weren’t able
to return the next day as we were leaving.
Would definitely recommend for anyone
going through Bell definitely stop and
enjoy.

Enjoyed our lunch and worth a drive to visit if you are staying in the nearby Bunya Mountains. Some interesting historical items on display in the dining hall which brought back some childhood memories. Food was also enjoyable and staff friendly, helpful and polite.

One of the nicest places we have visited. The staff were very friendly and the coffee and scones were excellent. Very good prices. A bonus is the hall with some lovely old furniture and bric a brac. Thanks so much.

Wow what a find this little gem was. Absolutely bespoke and quirky. Welcoming staff and divine food. A cafe with a generous menu (spoilt for choice). Local product lines available in store too.

Great little cafe/ coffee shop in the most unlikely of places. Only stopped for smoko, but the coffee and scones were beautiful, with real cream!
We'll be back next time we are through Bell
