There was nothing to complain about, and the foie gras was outstanding. Yet, with the increasing number of wonderful restaurants in the Twin Cities, we'd hoped to have our socks blown off. Each meal item was very good (and the foie gras was world class)....More

There's a reason chef/owner Gavin Kaysen won this year's James Beard award for the midwest - and it's called Spoon and Stable. We went shortly after they first opened and have had a tough time getting in again. So plan ahead, or plan on a...More

There is so much hype about Cassen’s restaurants, but I just have never had a memorable meal here. The atmosphere is great, the crowd very hip, the garage door that opens for a few street side seats so see and be seen worthy, the cocktails...More

Enjoyed a great, multi-course dinner here. Tried a couple cocktails too, both were nice. Real winner was the dry-aged beef ribeye and the honey and cream cake for dinner!

I got some wonderful news and needed to celebrate that same night, we tried to make a reservation without success. We booked somewhere else, dressed up and headed to Spoon and Stable anyway, just to try our luck. Once there, a very friendly host helped...More

Really had high expectations for Spoon and Stable. Arrived early for drinks in the bar. I had a great gin and tonic with their Sipsmith local with the herb bouquet in the glass. My wife had a tumeric cocktail that wasn't great. We asked the...More

Our dinner here last night was superb. The creative menu features seasonal foods, perfectly prepared in a place with great as ambience. I love watching service, so viewing the open kitchen action added to the fun. Highly recommended!

Something new to me at a restaurant was the choice of lighter alcohol content cocktails. They were a very pleasant way to start the meal. Other than that, I seriously do not know that I can say anything that has not been said in numerous...More

Having been increasingly exposed to "tasting" menus of 8-12 courses or so, it was so good to eat simpler and tastier and more wholesome food at Spoon & Stable. Not that it was less exciting. We had a table for 5 people in the centre...More

I'm in town attending a social marketing training so may be more empowered to share a review that does not fit in with the "norm." After great anticipation and excitement to dine here with my sister and niece, I left satisfied but without an anticipated...More

Hi, I would certainly hope that your service dog would be welcomed. I do know that the restaurant itself is crowded, not just with people, but the tables are rather close together. It might help to call the manager in... More
