We were headed to another restaurant when my husband suggested trying Hola Arepa as we drove by it. We liked the food and the service! It was a bit cool in the indoor veranda, but we are hardy Minnesotans! The fried plantains are superb. We...More

Very good food, very good drinks. The service had its sides, but on average it was on the good side. The place fills up quickly, and in October half of the tables were under a tent, practically outside (heated, though), which seemed a little too...More

Outside of Venezuela, some of the best Arepas I have eaten. Some are more fusion rather than the authentic but they also carry some of the usual stuff. The place is rugged but great.

Talk about a burst of flavor! Hola Arepa is a hidden gem in the twin cities. You feel like you are at a beach cabana enjoying tropical food and drinks. Do not go without trying the Tostada Chilaquiles and the Silver Dollar Cachapas. Yumo!

We really enjoyed our evening at Hola Arepa. I don't often award 5 stars, but this place deserves it. All our varied food choices were excellent, and everyone loved the extensive list of imaginative cocktail offerings. Service was brisk and attentive, even at a very...More

We have now eaten there twice and both times the food was excellent. Our group all chose an arepa (a south american street food - a sandwich with a corn meal bread on top and bottom with various fillings). We had the pork and sweet...More
