Stopped in for drinks with friends & ending up taking some soda bread home after eating the Irish potato soup! Food was really good, wait staff friendly and personable and will make sure to come back in the future!!

Good place across the street from First Avenue. Lots of established beer brands and flavors. The atmosphere is very Irish pub.

Food was okay, but the server was inattentive even though it was not a busy time. Burger was good. Water glasses weren't refilled until we could track her down and then it took awhile to get the check.

I visited O'Donovan's this past sunday evening and was quite impressed. Most of the pubs in downtown Minneapolis have a real corporate themed ambience when entering however O'Donovan's is a true Irish Pub. From the time i entered to the time left i could not fault, ordering the Fish and Chips with a Finnegan's amber ale.For those visiting downtown Minneapolis to see... More

A friend and I have stopped in here a few times after Timberwolves games. It's a cozy layout with plenty of booth seating & good service if not too busy. The bartenders know their whiskey even if I disagree with their definition of "quality." We had a burger and drinks this last time and were in an out within the... More

We stop here before we attend events at Target Center, which is right across the street. We also celebrates our birthdays here also. The place has a warm dark wood and stained glass interior. Very friendly staff and the food is plentiful and so good. Warning, the chicken pot pie will easily feed two, but is so good you probably... More

Enjoyed our visit here. Good beer selection. Service was fine. Loved the atmosphere. We enjoyed watching a soccer game with a few other sports fans.

We try to stop in at O'Donovan's every now and then to visit with the friendly staff and customers that seem to frequent the place. Beer is always cold and they have great drink specials for the downtown area.

We stopped here for food and drinks before a concert at Target Center. Easily the slowest service I've had in a very long time. We ended up going inside for our tab that the server never brought to our table. It took over 30 minutes to get a round of drinks. We paid for food we never received. Our server... More
