On 3/3/17, my family and I ate here for breakfast. I had the BIGA breakfast with a buttermilk pancake. I really enjoyed the pancake and the potatoes. The bacon was very thin and tasted like pre-cooked bacon. The breakfast was $14, which is pricey for low quality bacon. However, I plan on going back to try the desserts. All of... More

This is a great restaurant / bakery in a local neighborhood. The omelette that I had was very fluffy and tasty. I ordered the turtle omelette and my mom had a pancake. The pancakes are thick and fluffy. The seating space is good although a little strange to have restaurant supplies stacked all around. I don't mind the stacks of... More

Turtle Bread has a special place in my heart. I love all of the seating, the big windows, and the soups which are all made from scratch at this location. I also appreciate that they do NOT play music. This makes it a great place to casually meet with friends. The space is not very clean. This sounds gross, but... More

love the way piles of sacks of flour are just made a part of the ambience. It has a very homely feeling and I loved their almond croissant, rasberry pie and the coffee.

I've eaten at Turtle Bread often. Their sandwiches, soups are great. I really enjoyed breakfast items here. While the food is awesome, the staff are friendly, fast and efficient. They have the best bread selection which I purchase often for home. Excellent spot for lunch.

We've had breakfast here a few times. Today we brought home a piece of raspberry pie. OMG, the best ever and a great crust. A must try.

Good coffee, great variety of bakery goods, sandwiches, and even hot meals. Open and spacious seating. Good place to go if you're looking to meet someone or just be alone without being lonely.

Quick stop for dessert. Shared a pumpkin bar and a chocolate cupcake. Pumpkin bar was good but would have been better if it wasn't so cold. Cupcake was left behind. Cake mix quality bottom and the frosting was hard as a rock. Bathrooms were clean and chairs were comfy. Big place. Won't be back anytime soon.

Best European style bread in town. All breads are made expertly and to perfection. If i could eat it all day I would. They also have chocolate croissants and various other pastries. The breads is made from scratch daily.

This is a great local cafe with very good breakfast items, breads, and desserts. Anything here with chocolate is absolutely delicious. The Mexican chocolate brownies are a MUST. You cannot visit Minneapolis without trying them. The pumpkin bars are also good.
